As a division of SMBC with a fully remote team, we’re only allowed to gather in cities where our parent company has a physical footprint. Charlotte fits the bill, but the space constraints didn’t. That’s where the City Club changed everything. We moved from expensive, impersonal vendor spaces to a setting that’s elegant, efficient, and entirely ours. After just one all-day session, our leadership was hooked. The ambiance, the seamless support, and the undeniable cost savings made it the obvious choice for all future Charlotte meetings.
With free room rentals and media support typically under $200, versus $1,000 or more at hotels, we saw immediate returns. But what truly sets the City Club apart is the experience: the staff anticipates what we need before we ask. They treat every meeting like it matters, because it does.
