New Route!! New Sights!!

Going places - - - few get to see

Goodbye straight winds on a straight route!

HELLO turning North, South, East & West! We dare the wind to change directions that many times!

PLUS the longest day is 72 miles unless you ride the century loop

What good is a ride without a few ups and downs? Day 1

Day 2

New Roads!! From 4 lanes down to Country Roads!!

The most beautiful century loop in the state!

Important things to know Some roads have shoulders and some don’t!

Ride single file & to the right! Speeds vary on these roads (20-55mph)

Country roads mean….. ……country vehicles

Do your part and share the road! They work weekends to feed our families!

Gruene is great but it can getcha! Don’t let this steep curving downhill catch you off guard as you near BP6 on Day 1

Considering the Century loop? PAY CLOSE ATTENTION!!!!!! 28 Miles of LIMITED SAG – SAG vehicles located at each end of River Road and you only can SAG back to main route  ONLY Motor Marshals with Ham radios on River Road  Limited cell phone coverage  

Narrow 2 lane curving road RIDE TEXAS FRIENDLY and HELP keep traffic flowing

More Century loop considerations!!  Steep downhill to get to river elevation with sharp curve at bottom  Same hill to climb to exit – this will be 90 miles into your day Century Loop

 Be prepared for this narrow overpass as you leave BP6 – limited SAG in this area too

Last of the Century loop considerations!!

 NO GUARDRAILS on bridges

 ALL 4 BRIDGES have SHARP CURVES on both sides – SLOW DOWN

Reasons to ride the Century Loop are clear to see…………… It’s a beautiful shady treelined trek along the Guadalupe River
