Reflections From the Chaps ~ November 29, 2010
Actions and Thoughts Always Matter . . . Chaplain’s Reflection: It seems that many times in our society, people can become quite content with their egocentricity, even to a point of indifference. I suppose the thinking follows that if “I” am not being affected by someone’s actions, why should “I” need to do anything about it; after all, it’s that person’s or those people’s choice to do what they wish. Actually, there is nothing further from the truth, because there is no person who lives in isolation on this earth, nor is there any action that can be contained to where it does not affect someone else. May we always have love in our hearts, care in our values, and action in our purpose. God bless you Shipmates … we are United States Sailors who stand for freedom, for all mankind. Quote of the Day: “The world is a dangerous place to live, not because of the people who are evil, but because of the people who don’t do anything about it.” – Albert Einstein
