Helpful Information We hope your worship experience with us will be meaningful. To help you feel a bit more comfortable with our campus and morning programs, we have included a few recommendations. We are glad you are here today! • We would like to get to know you! Each pew has a Welcome Book in which you can let us know prayer requests, sign up for events and update your information. Please pass the Welcome Book down the row so we can hear from everyone! • Communion/Lord’s Supper All followers of Christ are welcome to participate in our Service of Communion. If you have prepared yourself for this very special moment with our Savior, you are invited to his table. (1 Corinthians 11:23-30) Please take the emblems as they are passed and partake when you are ready. Some prefer to take it while it is in front of them before passing it along. • Offering In our first two services, a special time for giving is set aside. Participation is an act of worship and voluntary. During our third service there will not be a time specific for offering but rather boxes are placed at the entry to allow for giving as you are led. • Nursery We have a friendly, well-staffed and impeccably clean nursery located on the north side of the narthex. Chaparral Kids Got Talent! It’s time! The Kid’s talent show has been set for May 22nd at 6 p.m. If your child would like to participate with a skit, song, joke or even a family act, please sign up with Sharon Alger! It will be lots of fun - so plan to be there!!

$ FINE ARTS CAMP!!!

Jr. Fine arts camp is coming quickly! Set aside June 13-17 for your kids! We are adding a preschool part to it this year that will include 3-year-olds through 1st grade and the elementary group from 2nd grade - 6th grade (going into). Time will be from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Specific information will be available on May 2nd. Music, drama, visual arts and dance will be part of the offerings and lunch will be included each day as well. Be sure to plan on attending the final matinee lunch on June 17th. Registration will begin for Chaparral families on May 2nd with registration for the community beginning on May 16th.

Remember!!! Tonight is the final Sunday night youth meeting, 5-6:30 p.m., Games & Pizza.  Don't miss it! UCYC is filling up! Register by next week, May 8th, for HS and MS camp this summer. Saguaro Club Thursday, May 19, 2011, Peaches and Olive Oil We will travel to the Schnepf Farm in Queen Creek to tour the orchard and have a chance to pick peaches.  After lunch at the farm, we will stop at the Olive Mill and learn how the olives become oil.  Cost for the day is $55.00 which includes bus transportation, tours, lunch and driver's gratuity.

Chaparral Basics Class New to Chaparral? Come find out what we are all about. We are offering a two-week class from 5-6:00 p.m., May 22nd & May 29th to spend time with Frank Shirvinski asking questions and finding out about us! The class will be followed by a Connections Dinner where Jackie Huber anyone can come, enjoy dinner and get to meet some new people!
