Teen Zone Winter Break Camp
Grades 5th-8th Spend your Winter Break with us in a fun, energetic and supervised environment! Every day there will be a new theme for the day, as well as new crafts, activities and snacks to go along with the theme. Drop off and pick up will be at Skateland Recreation Center, but Teen Zone may head over to the Heritage Crossing Field House or the Bowling Alley during the day, so please call the Teen Zone line at 815-216-0409 if you are picking up earlier in the day. Interested in Camp Adrenaline on page 29? Sign up for those trips for an additional $20. Participants must bring a lunch every day to camp. Winter Olympics
Come dressed in your favorite sports team and compete in some winter themed games. We will have “toboggan” relay races, “skiing” obstacle courses, snowball dodgeball and a snowman building contest. Pajama Day
Come chill out in your coziest pajamas and enjoy a relaxing day making snow globes and building Gingerbread Houses. Then we will make a holiday snack mix and some hot chocolate to have while we watch “Home Alone”. Date Day Time Deadline Dec 27 W 8 AM-6 PM Dec 22
Elf Day
Today we will pretend to be elves by decorating cookies, making ornaments and other holiday crafts. We can also pretend to fly like reindeer across the skating rink. Class Color Day
Wear your assigned class colors and compete in exciting obstacles to get to the North Pole. These tasks will include having a puzzle race, a scavenger hunt, capturing the stuffed animal first and many more. The winners will receive a small prize. Favorite Character Day
Do you have a favorite superhero? If so, dress like him or her today! We will be making our own comic books and character masks. The kids will play a variety of games such as Character Charades, so bring your creative side! Your child could attend the Teen Trip to Vertical Endeavors for an additional $25.00. Frozen Fun
Today we will pretend to be polar bears and penguins and make our own snow! Then we will make snowflakes to hang up and have a dance party. To cool down we will make sno-cones and watch “Frozen”! Neon Mania
Wear the brightest of the bright today from head to toe. We will be doing some glow-in-the dark crafts and some skating under the black lights. Beach Fun
