Style Guide


Allegiant Airline Identity Listed as one of America’s fastest growing airlines, Allegiant Airlines was in need of a new identity to match its success. With their low rates on air travel, the demographic for the new identity were younger consumers (18-30) and young families in search of flying cheaper and more efficiently. The focus of the branding process was to create an identity that would not only appeal to the younger demographic but an overall contemporary brand.

The Logo In creating a new typeface for the new Allegiant Airlines logotype, the three words we revolved our concepts around were contemporary, light heartedness and trust. The circular shapes of the letterforms and rounded ends provides the logotype with a sense of playfulness. The uniform theme of disconnected letter reflects the idea of letting go and being carefree as if you were on vacation.

Color Palette When deciding on which colors to use for Allegiant’s new identity, the history of Allegiant Air was a primary focus. The new logo of the company should pave a road into the future as well as embracing the past. A lighter shade of blue was used in the color palette to reflect a rejuvination of the identity and to signify trust.

The logotype for Allegiant Airlines was created from circular patterns. Secondary Typeface Helvetica Neue Light

In order to preserve the new identity of Allegiant Air, the colors may be used from the color palette as shown. The word “Airlines” may be included with the logotype as shown. The “a” from the logotype may also stand alone as it can serve as an icon.


Improper Usage


Website Design Along with Allegiant’s new logo, a website fitting the theme was needed. A new design features a clean, contemporary look without the clutter of extraneous information. Consumers can book tickets easily with the new layout without the confusion of figuring out which link to click to purchase Allegiant Air’s products.
