PDP crisis:

IVERS State Command of the Nigerian Police Force (NPF) yesterday declared Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Seimeikumo Debewari a deserter and consequently removed him as Aide de Camp (ADC) to the Rivers State Governor, Chibuike Amaechi. This was contained in a statement in Port Harcourt and signed by Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) in-charge of Administration, Augustine Sanomi, on behalf of the State Police Commissioner, Mr. Mbu Joseph Mbu. The Police said the whereabouts of Debewari has remained unknown since the fracas that broke out on the floor on the Rivers State House of Assembly on July 9, 2013, expressing anger that Debewari refused to heed directives to report himself to the State Police Commissioner or the Inspector General of Police.
