Died peacefully on 28th April at Southport and Formby District General Hospital
Beloved Husband of Anne, Father of Alan, Paul and John, Grandfather of Rachel, Beth and Nonni and Father-in-law to Karen, Jane and Hugh. Geoff will miss his beloved Royal Birkdale Golf Club (of which he was President) and will be sadly missed by all his family and friends and the many charities and societies to which he devoted his time including: Southport Talking Newspaper; Rotary Club of Southport; Southport Shelbourne Probus Club; Southport and Birkdale Provident Society; and Queenscourt Hospice. The family would like to express their sincere thanks to the staff of Stroke Ward 15b at the Hospital who provided such warm and wonderful care. Thanksgiving service will be held at Lord Street West United Church Monday 14th May at 11.30am followed by refreshments at The Royal Clifton Hotel.
