Cloud Experiment Lab Report-by Daniel Question: Is a cloud made up of water vapor? Prediction: The water will evaporate and will make the cloud inside the water bottle. Hypothesis: If I put smoke inside the bottle, the water vapor that is created by heat will come up. Materials: graduated cylinder 1.5L bottle water lighter candle Procedure Step 1: Pour 50ml of water inside a 1.5L bottle.

Step 2: Squeeze the bottle 20 times.

Step 3:Put heat using a candle near the top and squeeze the bottle for 20 times again.

Conclusion: My hypothesis was right because my data chart tells me that the amount of water does not change when I do the experiment with the bottle closed but when I do the experiment with the bottle opened the amount of water decreases The reason why the amount of water decrease is because the water evaporated and went up to the air. That told me that my hypothesis was right.
