What a Summer it has been, one of the hottest on record and packed full of fun, food and folk shenanigans at Centrestage. It’s now time to get ready for our new Creative Learning term and it’s the ideal time to tell you more about what we do at Centrestage and this little guide does just that. Creative Learning is at the heart of everything we do at Centrestage and is open to all ages and abilities, we have something for everyone to enjoy from beginners to advanced, toddlers to grannies (and grandads!) Our extensive program includes classes in Musical Theatre, Dance Theatre, Acting, Vocal, Additional Support Needs, Pre-School and Technical Theatre. No audition is required, and you can join a class at any time throughout the year. Our various Creative Learning classes all have associated production outcomes in our very own custom built 200 seat Centrestage Theatre.

Head of Creative Learning Stuart Bird shares his excitement about the new term; “It has been a wonderful Summer at Centrestage this year with our Festival of Fun,Food,Folk, but I’m incredibly excited to welcome old and new faces to our new term, all kicking off Monday 20th August. We have so much planned with some exciting productions and remember everyone can get involved, why not come along to our ‘Festival Finale’ on Sunday 19th August at Kilmarnock Academy, speak with our team, have fun and find out more about our

Creative Learning program, or pop in to see us at James Little Street, Kilmarnock.”

………... This term we’ve introduced two

junior ‘Gospel and Soul’ classes for 5-14 year olds and added a new

Friday slot for ‘Teeny Talent’ 2-4 year olds. For more information on all that we do across our communities visit our website on www.centrestagemt.org.uk or give us a call 01563 551505
