Above: St. Alphonsus students celebrated the feast day of St. Vincent de Paul with a special prayer service and a canned good collection. The canned goods were received by Ms. Karen Graves, director of the local St. Alphonsus St. Vincent de Paul Food Bank. Pictured are St. Alphonsus 8th Graders and their Kindergarten buddies.
St. Alphonsus students were pleased to welcome the Barn Hill Preserve Mobile Classroom. The students were able to see many animals, including a baby kangaroo, a wolf, and a macaw.

The Pumpkins are here! The 5th Annual Pumpkin Patch at Blackwater Methodist is open. Pumpkins are available for purchase from 8 to 5 Monday through Friday. St. Alphonsus Members Visit Italy
Submitted by St. Alphonsus 87 members of St. Alphonsus Liguori Catholic Church, Greenwell Springs, LA visited St. Alphonsus Liguori Church in Rome, Italy on September 19, 2013. The group toured Italy for 14 days. During this time they visited Rome, Assisi, Perugia, Siena, Florence, Venice, Milan and Sicily.
