Honoring 9/11 Recycling - pg 3
TIRE RECYCLING FUN!
Twice a year the Isabella County’s Isabella Conservation District hosts free tire recycling for residents. Lucian Mullins of Clare, shown above, was here last Saturday to help his dad, his uncle, and his grandfather all collect tires from the public. Lucian’s grandfather, Dan Mullins, owns C M Rubber Technologies, Inc. in Coleman, Michigan. Residents who missed last week-
end’s tire recycling can take their tires up to C M Rubber in Coleman and dispose of them for a small fee, or wait until the next free recycling event which will be held next Spring. The Isabella Conservation District also hosts Hazardous Waste collection events twice annually, with the next collection on October 3rd, from 9:00 a.m. to noon at The Isabella County Fairgrounds.

Monday September 14th was the first day of work for Molli Ferency in her new role as the city of Mt. Pleasant’s Public Relations Coordinator. Molli Ferency has previously worked in the communications field for Portage Public Schools and Clare-Gladwin RESD. “We are thrilled to find a candidate with the expertise and experience that Molli has.” said City Clerk Jeremy Howard. “Molli and her skill set will be a valuable asset to the City.”
