C e n t ra l C h r i s ti a n Church has a desire to offer sports and recreation for people of all ages. We understand that in a church of this size, it can be difficult to get to know other people. We believe that participating in sports can help to get people connected to the church and build relationships with each other.

Each weekend we open Friendship Valley, our Early Childhood Ministry, to provide a safe learning environment for children from 6 weeks to Pre-K. In our nursery, infants and 1 year olds are nurtured and lovingly cared for by trained volunteers. Children in the 1 year old rooms will hear Bible stories and engage in fun, age-appropriate activities. In the Friendship Valley Theater children ages 2 to Pre-K experience Bible stories, praise and worship time and fun activities all geared to help them gain an understanding that “God loves me,” “God made me,” and “Jesus wants to be my friend forever.” All this fun then culminates as our small group leaders engage these children in exciting activities to drive home the lesson for the day. Each weekend our elementary students, Kindergarten to 3rd grade, get to come to Big Rock Theater. In this environment they get to participate in exciting stations, sing with our band, see some great skits, and hear an applicable and relevant bible based lesson about the virtue of the month. From here these students get to spend some time making the day’s lesson real with their small group leader. Each weekend our preteen students, 4th & 5th Grade, come to the Summit. In this environment they get to sing with our band, play some games, and hear an applicable and relevant bible based lesson. From here these students get to spend some time making the day’s lesson real with their small group leader. On selected Thursdays, our preteen students, 4th & 5th Grade, get a chance to go deeper in a small group environment. Space is limited so find out more info at “The Summit” on the weekends.

Summit Overnight Cam p 2014

Camp will be held at Camp Hiawatha located just minutes from CCC. We will have a wonderful camp ground complete with large swimming pool, air conditioned meeting spaces and lots of outdoor space Each day and night campers will have large group and small group teaching time, crafts, recreation, swimming and much more. All meals will be provided for the duration of the camp.

We know Jesus rose from the dead and we know how important that is, but what did the disciples do after Jesus went to heaven? Where did they go and what can we learn from them? What can we do 2,000 years after all of this happened?

Cross Bearing Adventures Is: A week filled with fun and challenging experiences that will change your life! Whether it is climbing to the top a 14,000-foot mountain, rafting a raging river, or rappelling down a 160-foot cliff, our goal will be to allow God to speak to us through each and every moment, no matter how intense! As we seek to navigate our way through this life with all its spiritual deserts, mountains, forests, and valleys, our only hope for finding the right course is to orient our compass to the Cross of Jesus Christ and take our bearing on Him.
