We’re all dressed up and ready for the season! Our splendid new culinary space adds to the joy of a Center Club visit.

The focus is on what’s new: a state-of-the-art kitchen is designed around the culinary team, where members can get a glimpse of where the magic happens. In this beautifully reimagined 15th Floor space, you and your guests can peruse the day’s catch or oysters on ice, choose your own cut of beef or preview dessert. You can reserve the new Chef’s Table with an exclusive view of the kitchen at work. And there’s now more time to enjoy your Club: the café and bakeshop opens at 7 AM for casual morning meetings or coffee with a waterfront sunrise.

Sync your calendar with the events you’ll find in the following pages for a season to remember.

2025 is shaping up to be an extraordinary year filled with new events,

experiences and opportunities.

Your membership is more valuable than ever. The first 400 renewals will be entered into two drawings for a dinner for four at the Chef’s Table. Please contact Noreen Frenaye if you have questions or want to propose new members: noreen.frenaye@ centerclub.org. 2025 is shaping up to be an extraordinary year filled with new events, experiences and opportunities.

The focus is also on what’s classic: our round of annual holiday events sells out fast.

Finally, I’m grateful for the outpouring of good wishes after announcing my plan to retire at the end of January. I look forward to seeing you here soon, so I can thank you in person.

Kevin Bonner General Manager, Since 2013

Goodbye, Kevin

After 11 years of dedicated service, Kevin Bonner will step down as General Manager of The Center Club on January 31, 2025. Kevin’s leadership has been instrumental in earning the club international acclaim, including its Platinum status as a “Top 50 City Club” in the U.S. since 2014 and a “Top 100 City Club of the World” since 2018 and a Distinguished Club since 2023. He also played a key role in the creation of Orioles’ Pub and led several renovations, enhancing the club’s culinary and social spaces.

“The Center Club of today, which has earned international acclaim and is prized by its nearly 2000 members and their guests, is very much the result of Kevin’s leadership, commitment to excellence, and devotion to the Club’s proud legacy of inclusiveness, and reputation for superior hospitality,” said Bradley S. Chambers, President of the Board of Governors. “While we very much regret this turn of the page on Kevin’s consequential tenure, we respect his decision to begin a new chapter of his life with family and grandchildren, and wish him the very best in the years ahead. Kevin will be working closely with the Board and staff to facilitate a smooth transition to the next general manager. Moreover, it will be the Board’s top priority to ensure that Kevin’s significant contributions provide the basis for the Center Club’s continued growth and broader impact in our community.”

CulinaryGallery

I’m excited to engage with our members at the new Chef’s Table, offering expanded menus with dry-aged beef and more as well as creating unforgettable dining experiences.

- Executive Chef, Bob Bannan

Exciting changes are underway at The Center Club, and members have much to look forward to with our renovated Kitchen and new Culinary Gallery. These new features are designed to enhance both convenience and the overall dining experience, creating fresh opportunities for members to enjoy the Club in new ways.

The renovation also includes a state-of-the-art kitchen, equipped with the latest technology to elevate every dish we serve. The modernized kitchen allows our culinary team to work more efficiently and explore innovative techniques, ensuring that every meal meets the highest standards of quality and creativity. This investment in new equipment further enhances the dining experience, supporting the expanded offerings in both the Culinary Gallery and the Chef’s Table.

O ne highlight of the renovation is the introduction of a dry-aged meat locker. Members will be able to select their favorite cut of meat, aged to perfection, for an unparalleled dining experience. The wine lockers offer a personal touch, allowing members to store their selections of wines, which can be enjoyed on-site during future visits. Wine locker holders will also experience specially curated wine tasting events.

For those early risers, our new café and bakery will be open from Tuesday to Friday, 7 AM to 12 PM. Stop in for fresh baked goods, gourmet coffee and specialty teas in a relaxed setting that’s perfect for a morning meeting or quick bite.

A standout addition to the Culinary Gallery is the Chef’s Table, where members can experience an intimate, multi-course tasting menu curated by Executive Chef, Bob Bannan. Each dish will be crafted from the freshest ingredients, often locally sourced, and an optional pairing with carefully selected wines or whiskey may be added. Diners can engage with the chefs, learning about the inspiration behind the dishes, making it a truly interactive and immersive dining experience.

These enhancements are just the beginning. With the expanded offerings, The Center Club continues to provide members with exclusive experiences that blend convenience, quality and sophistication.

Club members Kyla and Stephen Liggett-Creel celebrated their anniversary at the Club.
