Mississauga Movies, Music, Folklore, Food and Art!

Organizer: July 28, 2009

THANK YOU! It is a pleasure for me to offer you this magazine along with a summary of the events of the first celebration of the Colombian Independence Day in Mississauga. This event gave the Colombian Community the opportunity to demonstrate our culture through art, music, folklore and native food. It is very important for us, that other Canadian communities know that we the Colombian immigrants, are honest, good and hard working people that came to this country with our families to help build a bright future for all Canadians. I am very thankful to all the people that helped with the event, especially the Embassy of Colombia in Ottawa, the Consulate General of Colombia in Toronto, the media, the sponsors, the artist, the volunteers and my husband and daughters, who supported me every day in the planning and actualization of this event. Thank you to everyone who participated in the event and we look forward to seeing you next year!

When it comes to purchase or selling your home, you can count on Integrity, Experience, Care, Professionalism at your service in the greater Toronto Area.

Olga Grant

ABOUT OLGA . . . Olga was born in Colombia, South America and came to live in Canada in 1965. Since then she has resided in several cities in Quebec and Ontario and has now lived in Mississauga since 1978. Her sales experience goes back to 1984 when she worked in the travel industry and was a manager of a Whole Sale Tour Company. After working for fifteen years in this client oriented sales position Olga decided to pursue the career that she desired for a long time and became a licensed Real Estate Representative. Olga's efforts have been rewarded through the sales achievements she has obtained and in 2005 was the recipient of the Royal LePage President's Gold Award. Throughout her career she has gained a wide knowledge of the Greater Toronto Area having assisted her clients in buying and/or selling their homes from Hamilton in the west, Ajax in the east and Newmarket in the north. Olga is a very dynamic and compassionate individual. She is a member of the Casa Cultural Colombiana, the Canadian Colombian Professionals Association and the Canadian Colombian Children's Organization which helps orphan children with education, food and shelter in her beloved Country. Given Olga's complete fluency in English and Spanish along with her active participation within the community she has gained the ability and understanding to help her clients with their real estate needs. Professional integrity, commitment, patience and care are always foremost in her thoughts. TESTIMONIALS . . . We have used Olga Grant’s services several times in the past year and a half. We are presently using her services again in selling property. We found Olga to be a conscientious and efficient professional. She performs above and beyond her duties for her clients. Andy and Susan, Past Seller and Buyer

I attest to Olga’s drive and energy in ensuring my family and I were shown many appropriate homes during our house hunting trip…when we found our “Dream Home”. Olga negotiated expertly on our behalf. We were thrilled with the ease of the transaction. Alasdair and Rachel, Past Buyer
