STUDIO DIRECTOR AND ARCHITECTURAL DESIGNER Hattery is a workspace, studio, and community for entrepreneurs building extraordinary companies. My job is to create an ever-evolving habitat for Hattery’s team to work, create, and play. I build development strategies and programming, design architectural interiors and furniture, produce construction drawings, research and source materials, and manage project budget and construction. DESIGN APPRENTICE Rebar creates objects, spaces and ideas that inspire people to re-imagine the environment and our place in it. My role on the team was to conduct research and to produce drawings and renderings as both a tool for project development as well as a product for final presentation. GRAPHIC DESIGNER Curry Stone celebrates designers who are instrumental forces for improving people’s lives and the state of the world. I designed books featuring the nominated projects and narratives for review. ARTIST & PROJECT DIRECTOR Inside Out is a global art project that uses large scale portraits to transform messages of identity into powerful urban exhibitions. After successfully completing a Kickstarter campaign, I directed a group action, producing dozens of large-scale portraits that lived on the facades of buildings in Oakland. GRAPHIC DESIGN INTERN At PUBLIC BIkes, I designed mock-ups for custom urban bikes and marketing materials for clients such as the Sierra Club, Williams-Sonoma, and Facebook. RECREATIONAL ACTIVITY LEADER This unique playground encourage schildren to play and build creatively. I managed tools and supervised large groups of children holding saws. I worked with a team to lead construction projects and to ensure a safe and free creative environment. RESEARCH INTERN & PHOTOGRAPHER I conducted and organized outreach efforts and research concerning green building practices in the Bay Area, photographed tour events, and managed the active media library. DESIGN FELLOW I executed a wide range of visual design projects for advertisement, website, and signage use primarily concerning the 2009 Open Architecture Challenge and the Save Trestles Design Competition.
