THE WAVES The acoustic waves are propagations of the energy where the particles vibrate and move to both sides of their initial position. The most important types of the waves are: - Transverses: the vibration is perpendicular to the address propagation. - Longitudinals: the vibration is parallel to the address propagation. Some of the features of the waves are: - Crest: is the tall point of the wave.. - Valley: is the low point of the wave.. Other features are: Longitude, frequency and amplitude. And this are the properties of the waves: Reflection, refraction, diffraction and interference.
