All of our dual suspension bikes work around the same principal: the CONTACT SYSTEMŠ.

It is the CONTACT SYSTEM that has delivered (from its creation in 2005 to the most recent World Champion titles) such special ride characteristics to our bikes. Each new COMMENCAL frame starts off its development around the CONTACT SYSTEM. The CONTACT SYSTEM is built around a reliable and simple single oversized pivot, positioned between the front and rear triangles of the bike. Calculations that go into positioning the hinged points of the CONTACT SYSTEM, itself consisting of a single pivot and a rockerand-connecting-rod assembly, provide the bike with its character and ultimate suspension efficiency. This complex exercise allows us to adapt the suspensions behavior to each riding type. Our downhill CONTACT SYSTEM will therefore behave quite differently to the one used on our XC bikes.

_Réglage de la patte de frein à disque Votre suprême DH dispose d’un réglage qui permet de contrôler l’équilibre de votre vélo lors de la phase de freinage. En effet lors de cette phase l’action du frein arrière comprime la suspension ce qui lui fait perdre de l’adhérence et donc de l’efficacité. Votre patte de frein à disque dispose de 3 positions, la position 3 étant celle qui interfère le moins sur la suspension arrière lors du freinage. La position 2 et 1 sont des positions intermédiaires. N’hesitez pas à réaliser divers essais afin de sélectionner la position qui convienne le mieux à votre style de pilotage. _AJUSTER L’ANGLE DE DIRECTION. Afin d’adapter le comportement de votre Commençal à différent type de piste et à votre style de pilotage, vous avez la possibilité de modifier l’angle de direction de votre vélo. Votre vélo est livré avec deux inserts de direction : •un insert +/- 1° de couleur noir monté sur le vélo •un insert 0° de couleur argent livré en sup-
