Located in the historic Portage Center for the Arts, our intimate Zona Gale Theatre seats 280 people with a thrust stage. Home to our Performing Arts Concert Series, Gale Singers Community Choir as well as the Zona Gale Young People’s Theatre, it is also a regular location for Portage Area Community Theatre productions.

The Drury Gallery offers free monthly exhibits by local and regional artists from September through May each year offering patrons an up close experience with the visual arts. An opening reception is held at the beginning of each exhibit.

The Center’s Zone Gale Young People’s Theatre offers summer workshops for youth & one or two full scale productions each year.

The Portage Center for the Arts is dedicated to the cultural growth and enhancement of those living in Portage and the surrounding area. It’s mission is to promote and foster the arts by providing a community venue for the visual arts, performing arts, and arts education. The Center seeks to achieve it’s mission by developing alliances between itself and arts educators, artists, children, youth and the supporters of the arts.
