What do I get with the program? It’s not as simple as it may seem to get organized to work overseas (especially in the USA). As a US Government appointed J1 visa sponsor, CCUSA offer everything needed to make the experience a success for you. PLACEMENT RECORD LOW PROGRAM FEE J1 VISA

100% placement for 17 years for accepted participants. From just €275. CCUSA is an official US designated J1 Visa Sponsor and issues the US Government document that you need to get your visa to work as a Camp Counselor or Support Staff. You will only work with CCUSA in Hungary and USA, not a third party (like the other US camp organizations in Hungary). The visa is for work at camp plus up to 30 days to travel and sightsee around the USA. MINIMUM COUNSELOR PAY** Working 9 weeks you earn between: • US$1335 - US$1795 (Your Own Flight Option) • US$750 - US$1150 (CCUSA Paid Flight Option) • PLUS you earn US$39 for each day you work over 9 weeks (so if you work 10 weeks & earn US$273 more!) MINIMUM SUPPORT STAFF PAY** Working 9 weeks you earn: • US$1800 (Your Own Flight Option) • US$1250 (CCUSA Paid Flight Option) • PLUS you earn US$49 for each day you work over 9 weeks (so work 10 weeks & earn US$343 more!) What experience do I need to be a Camp Counselor? This program option is for students and non-students, but most importantly you need to have a strong level of English speaking and comprehension, an interest in working with children and previous experience working with children (formal or informal). Additionally, CCUSA look for enthusiastic people who have skills they can teach or assist teaching to American children. There are over 200 activities that might be offered at camps across the following activity areas: • Arts & Crafts • Athletics/Sports • Circus • Digital Media • Extreme Sports • Fitness • Gymnastics • Horse Riding/Farm Animals • Outdoor Adventure • Performing Arts • Ropes/Climbing • Target Sports • Water Sports • Certification or degree that relates to children. What experience do I need to be Support Staff?

Types of Camps You are placed at a camp based on your own camp type preferences (you need to choose at least 4 types for Camp Counselor and 5 types for Support Staff from the list below), the skills that you offer, dates you are available to work and your experience with children. This program option is for full-time students only. You need to have an interest in working in an environment surrounded by children. You need to have personal or job related experience in one or many of the jobs available for Support Staff at camp. Most importantly camps are looking for a cheerful and hardworking attitude as you play a very important role in the smooth and efficient operation of the camp. Jobs for Support Staff: •

Maintenance: Grounds Work, Repairs, Handyman, Mowing, Painting, Stable Work Kitchen: Chef/Assistant Chef, Dishwashing, Food Service, Kitchen Assistant, Food Prep, Waiter, Waitress. Cleaning: Housekeeping, Janitor, Laundry, Rubbish Removal.

Camp Job Fair Each year CCUSA host up to 20 Camp Directors in Hungary for the sole purpose of meeting and hiring Hungarian Support Staff and Camp Counselors. Apply well in advance to get your “VIP Access Pass” to the Camp Director hiring session before the general public on the day. Camp profiles and jobs will be posted on our Website well in advance so you can check out the great camps and jobs on offer.

To apply you will need to submit the following (full details online): • Completed online application form • Smiling profile photo Once you have completed these 2 items CCUSA will contact you to do a “Welcome to CCUSA Call”, confirm your eligibility for the program and help you choose Support Staff or Counselor.

(Refunded if you are not accepted to the program.) • Apply, pay and be accepted by December 1st 2018: €275 (Your Own Flight) or €425 (CCUSA Paid Flight) • Apply, pay and be accepted by January 15th 2019: €300 (Your Own Flight) or €450 (CCUSA Paid Flight) • Apply, pay and be accepted by March 15th 2019: €350 (Your Own Flight) or €500 (CCUSA Paid Flight) • Apply, pay and be accepted after March 15th 2019: you will pay a €50 late Application fee. What happens next? 1. Pay the application fee (fully refunded if you are not accepted to the program) 2. Complete the next section of the application where you choose your program option. 3. Attend your CCUSA program interview. 4. Complete and upload the supporting documents including 2 references, program agreement, proof of student status (if applying as Support Staff) & camp introduction video. Once these forms have been received your application will be sent to the USA for final acceptance.
