A Letter from our principal...

Principal: Cathy Santelle

April 27, 2012

Dear Parents and Guardians, I would like to encourage all Woodview families to attend the Art Show on May 3rd from 6 – 8 p.m. Miss Heinz and her students are excited for you to see all of the amazing creations on display. That evening we will also be hosting a Scholastic Buy One Get One Book Fair. This is another opportunity for you to purchase books for your home library at a low cost. The proceeds will benefit our school. I would like to take the opportunity to say thank you to the Fine Arts Committee from the PTO that has successfully brought us great assemblies this year. Last Monday students saw a version of “The Big Friendly Giant” from Emerald City productions. Students enjoyed the performance. We are thankful and lucky to have such a great group of parents that work so hard to help us supplement the curriculum with these types of opportunities! Congratulations to all first and second grade students who performed Thursday evening. The music program was outstanding! A special thanks goes to Mr. Smith, for all his hard work and dedication. We enjoyed the song and dance. The week of May 7th is Teacher Appreciation Week. We have so many dedicated staff members here at Woodview. Please take the time to thank them for all the wonderful things they do for your children. I know I am very grateful for each and every one of them!

Sincerely, Cathy Santelle

Clip & save Tyson Project A+ labels. Turn in the labels to school. Your school redeems them for cash. Each label is worth $.26.

Here is another way to earn money for Woodview. Simply clip the Box Tops from your favorite General Mills products and send them to school with your child!

Chef Tony says, “Spring has sprung a little early. Check out the latest Market Day flyer for all your grilling needs!”

Did you know that Woodview collects Campbell’s soup labels? The labels are worth points and must have the UPC code in order to be used. The points can be redeemed for books, gym equipment, and other items for our school. Each teacher has a box in the classroom to collect labels and box tops!
