GMS News: We hope you can stop by and enjoy a great show at GMS tonight! Beauty and the Beast opens tonight at 7 PM in the GMS theatre. Saturday showings are 2 and 7 PM. We hope you can stop by and check out a wonderful show put on by many hardworking GMS students and staff. St. Baldrick’s Here is information about our district’s St. Baldrick event sponsored by GMS: It is that time of year again where we are starting to get ready for our big Grayslake Community St. Baldrick's Event. We're hoping you will help us raise funds to stomp out childhood cancer forever! The event this year is on Thursday, April 18th. Our goal for the event is $30,000, but if we raise over $35,000 this year, we will have raised $150,000 in our 6 years of running this annual event at GMS. Each year, we grow the activities, and we grow the donation. Last year we were just short of $33,000! https://www.stbaldricks.org/events/mypage/11177/2019 Your can share the link and everyone can donate directly to the St. Baldrick's event. Each student donation of $50 or more affords that student the opportunity to take part in our Shave Assembly on April 18th. Thanks for thinking about helping the cause and helping our students take part in this school-wide community service activity. If you have a younger child that would like to participate by starting a collection at another D46 school, please let us know. We can help him/her get started. Also, if you have a non-GMS family member who would like to take part in our event, we will be open for a shave or a cut during the afternoon and evening of April 18th as well.
