Camps are open to current families. Campers must register for their current school year level. All payments must be made in full at time of ”egist”ation in o”de” to secu”e you” child’s placement in camp.

Drop-Off and Pick-Up: Campers in the Early 2s, Junior 2s, and M”s. Shackelfo”d’s Cooking Camp/Messy Mission classes can be dropped off |and picked up at the School Office, located downstairs on the opposite side of Blacker Hall from the parking garage. Campers in the 3s through Kindergarten can be dropped off and picked up upstairs at the side door, located closest to the upper level of the parking garage. If you arrive after 9:10 or need to arrange an earlier pick-up, please go to the School Office, located downstairs and we will assist you. Snack & Water Bottle: Please send a labeled healthy snack and water bottle with your camper daily.

CAMP OPPORTUNITIES Early 2s Week 1: Dr. Seuss Shenanigans You could not, would not, should not miss A summer camp as fun as this! We will have books galore to share, Arts, crafts, and cooking, if we dare! Dr. Seuss is our theme as we explore Hats with stripes and truffelas galore! We will count the fish, red and blue. Maybe even be a little mischievous too!

Teachers: Kelly Peterson & Bridget Starr Maximum: 14 Minimum: 8 Week 2: If You Send a Child to Camp… Who knows what will happen this week if you bring your child to camp? Through art, cooking, music, and more fun, we will explore author Laura Nume”off famous If You Give… books. Th”ough cause and effect investigations, we will see what can happen afte” one thing occu”s… and what might happen if you send a child to camp!

Junior 2s Week 1: Under the Sea Looking for all mystical mermaids and high sea pirates! Set sail with us as we look for treasure, underwater secrets, and famed mermaids in the waterfilled world of wonder. We will discover creatures of the sea and other amazing sec”ets found in God’s oceans.

We’”e off to a splendiforous summer, as Dr. Seuss would say, and will be exploring tall tales and creating crafts around some of our favorite authors and illust”ato”s’ wo”ks of a”t. Join us as we go on a book hunt, make way for new favorites (and maybe the ducklings), and even say goodnight, moon!

Threes Week 1: Rockin’ Rainbow Join us as we explore the many colors of the rainbow this week. We will drip, drizzle, and splatter our way through the week with many exciting art activities inspired by great artists. We will also go on nature walks in search of vibrant colors, create (and eat!) delicious colorful treats, and enjoy several types of rich play.

Teachers: Jennifer Mueller & Viviane Richa Maximum: 16 Minimum: 10 Week 1: Junior Forest Ranger Come learn about animals that live in the Florida Everglades and the forests of Florida through special art, music, games, and activities. We will investigate turtles, snakes, iguanas, and more as we venture through the forest. We will learn so many fun facts that your little Ranger will come home teaching you about Florida Wildlife.

Teachers: Donna Daughtry & Julie Lucas Maximum: 16 Minimum: 10 Week 2: Imagination Station Venture with us each day as we stretch our imaginations to discover different places, such as grocery stores, restaurants, workshops, backyard camping, and more! We will even bring our teddy bear friends along for a picnic adventure!

Grab your straw skirts, Hawaiian print shirts, and la”ge ”im hats. We’ll be creating island artwork, exploring sea animals, and enjoying the beauty of God’s oceans. Join us fo” some fun in the sun as we kick off summer!

Threes, Fours, & K Week 1: Cooking Camp Take a vacation and travel the country this week as we explore American regional cuisine. Camp will visit the Deep South (think Key Lime Pie!), Southwest, Southeast (mmm‌ hush puppies!), and the Mid-Atlantic areas, sampling many of their well-known cuisines along the way. Get your appetites ready for some delicious platters!

Teachers: Stephanie Shackelford & Wendy Mowat Maximum: 16 Minimum: 10 Week 2: Messy Mission Experiments abound this week as we learn how to measure, pour, and create simple experiments by following recipes and other instructions. Join us as we get messy, explore different ingredients, and maybe even make an explosion (or two!).

Fours & Kindergarten Week 1: Pirates & Princesses Enter our castle, my dears, and pirate ship, matey! Princesses will make beautiful crowns, wands, and shoes to fancy themselves, as well as explore make-up and nail designs. Pirates will don their trust parrots and swords before creating a map leading to the hidden treasure. We will all go hunting for some gold in this adventure!

Teachers: Samantha Ingham & Michelle Sheraga Maximum: 18 Minimum: 12 Week 2: Dinosaur Calling all junior paleontologists! Grab your brushes and join us for a dinosaur dig in the sand. As we search for fossils and prints, we will also explore icy excavation to keep cool. We will study and craft many species of dinosaurs throughout the week, so make room in your home for your very own dino!

OTHER SUMMER OPPORTUNITIES Vacation Bible School June 24-28, 9:00 AM—Noon At Love First Vacation Bible School, children will discover that: • All people are lovable in the eyes of God, no exceptions (Love Self). • I am called to love and care for people in need (Love Neighbor). • I can see and feel God’s love in my life (Love God). You” kids won’t want to miss this awesome week full of music, c”afts, games, and bible stories! Online registration for campers will open on April 24th for CEC church members and volunteers, and to the public on April 26th. Registration will be online: VBS is for children who will be four years old before 6/24/19 and are fully potty trained (no exceptions) through rising 5th graders. All grades used during registration should be RISING grades (2019/2020 school year).
