Preserve the Legacy Continue the Commitment
CCM’s late Founder, Betty Bertaux, was committed to the ideal that no musically talented child would ever be turned away from Children’s Chorus of Maryland & School of Music because of an inability to afford the tuition. In that spirit, CCM has always offered a robust program of scholarship assistance to a large percentage of our student body. Even at the best of times, tuition covers less than 50% of CCM’s annual operating budget. But in this challenging economy, with over 50% of our families now receiving scholarship assistance, requests for support are exceeding available funds. Betty’s legacy lives on in the students she taught, the music she composed, the teachers and musicians she mentored, and at CCM - the school she created and nurtured for nearly 40 years. Please consider making a gift today to the Betty Bertaux Memorial Scholarship Fund here at CCM. Your funds will be used to continue to provide the extraordinary music education to which Betty devoted her life—to nurture young musicians, to help them learn what they need in order to share their gifts with the world, and to feed their souls. www.ccmsings.org/donate • (410) 494-1480 8 Children’s Chorus of Maryland
