Insegnamento della religione Di grande rilievo, la duplice intesa sottoscritta a Roma il 28 giugno 2012 tra la CEI e il Ministero dell’Istruzione per ridefinire il profilo dei futuri insegnanti di religione e una nuova versione delle indicazioni per l’insegnamento della religione cattolica nel secondo ciclo.
Anno della fede Tra le iniziative legate all’Anno della Fede, spicca la solenne “Professio Fidei” celebrata dai Vescovi Italiani insieme a Papa Francesco il 23 maggio 2013 nella Basilica di San Pietro, ma non si possono trascurare iniziative come il sito “Educat”, presentato l’11 ottobre 2012, per offrire a tutti i navigatori una nuova forma di accesso digitale ai Catechismi, o come il portale “Beweb”, che cataloga l’immenso patrimonio artistico e culturale custodito dalle diocesi italiane e gestito in piena collaborazione con gli enti civili preposti.
Settimana Sociale e Convegno Ecclesiale Nazionale In questi dodici mesi è proseguito il cammino di preparazione alla 47ª Settimana Sociale dei Cattolici Italiani (Torino, 12-15 settembre 2013: “La famiglia, speranza e futuro per la società italiana”), mentre è stato precisato il tema del prossimo Convegno Ecclesiale Nazionale (Firenze 2015), cioè “In Gesù Cristo il nuovo umanesimo”.
Solidarietà Non si è mai interrotta la catena di aiuti che, dopo i terremoti del maggio 2012 in Emilia Romagna, Veneto e Lombardia, ha portato all’inaugurazione dei primi dieci centri di comunità, mentre anche in Abruzzo, a quattro anni dal sisma del 6 aprile 2009, la Caritas Italiana continua ad essere accanto alla popolazione nella ricostruzione.
Da segnalare Si segnala la significativa partecipazione della Chiesa Italiana alla prossima GMG di Rio e la convinta adesione alla campagna europea “One of us”, per la tutela della dignità umana dal concepimento alla morte naturale.

Social Week and National Church Congress Over the last twelve months preparation for the 47th Italian Catholics’ Social Week (Turin, 12-15 September 2013: “The family, hope and future for Italian society”) have continued, while the theme of the next National Church Congress in Florence in 2015 has been chosen: “In Jesus Christ, the new humanism”.
Solidarity There has been no let-up in the chain of assistance which, after the earthquakes of May 2012 in Emilia Romagna, the Veneto and Lombardia, led to the establishment of the first ten community centres, while in the Abruzzo, too, four years after the earthquake of 6 April 2009, Caritas Italy continues to be alongside the population in the re-building efforts.
Nota There wil be a significant presence of the Italian Church at the next WYD in Rio and the sure adherence to the European campaign “One of us”, for the protection of human dignity from the moment of conception to natural death.
