Apprentice Coffee Shop/Sandwich Bar Team Member City & Guilds Intermediate Apprenticeship in Food and Beverage Service Working in a busy coffee shop/sandwich bar the successful applicant will undertake the following tasks; Food Side; • Food preparation • Sandwich making • Ordering stock • Stock rotation • Dealing with deliveries and putting stock away Beverage/Drink Side; • Full Barista Training given to allow the successful applicant to serve a variety of specialized coffees and teas • The serving of a variety of other beverages; e.g. Milk Shakes and Protein Shakes from a varied drink menu which the successful applicant will need to learn Successful applicant will be recruited with a view of progressing into all areas of cafe management and will be trained in operation areas, e.g.; completing paperwork, cash handling, completing Profit & Loss accounts and budgetary forecasting
