The Paul Simon Public Policy Institute is proud to sponsor an SIUC Journalism student as the “Paul Simon Intern” at the Washington Center for Politics and Journalism. The selected student will particpate in an fulltime internship receiving practical experience and exposure to national politics as reporting interns in major Washington news bureaus. College credit can be attained. The recipent will receive a $3,000 stipend to assist with the cost of locating and living in Washington, DC, but must make their own living arrangements. A great opportunity for hands-on experience and networking within the politcal journalism arena!
