Dear Friends, As we enter the second quarter of 2019, we are reflecting on the fantastic year at The Reserve in 2018. Last year, we enjoyed our best year for sales in 10 years – with a 27 percent increase in closings and 125 percent increase in total volume. Our team of sales agents under David Hurst’s leadership represented 67% of the total resale lots and homes sold in The Reserve. These sales produced a total volume of $32.6 million ($27.1 million from home sales; $5.5 million from lot sales). Although pleased with this growth, our desire for a renewed performance culture and the best possible membership experience led to a critical review of how we can continue to be even stronger. The path to making this decision was long and methodical, ensuring we identified the right partner who can provide the best operations, sales, and marketing platform, and who shares our objectives. As a result, the board is happy to announce a transformative strategic relationship with Coldwell Banker Caine. Effective today, this new partnership enables us to expand our sales and marketing to a global scale – bringing 86 years of world class real estate leadership and proven results. Coldwell Banker Caine, based in Greenville, SC, was founded in 1933. With 200 Realtors and 40 full time employees, they perform among the top two percent of Coldwell Banker firms worldwide. They are viewed as one of the most progressive real estate brokerages in the network and throughout the country. Caine will now oversee all management, operations, sales, and marketing. With that management, they bring access to technology, tools, personnel resources, and an empowering culture of advantages that will take us to the next level. The infrastructure includes an impressive leadership team of noncompeting brokers, marketing, accounting, relocation, commercial sales, residential and commercial property management, and an in-house insurance brokerage. We are also partnering with the leading luxury brand in the world.
