My career has never followed a direct path, yet still a carefully chosen one. I seize opportunities which enrich my abilities to the fullest. Winding from marketing to corporate and back my work spans a wide range of disciplines including promotional, corporate and brand identity, advertising campaigns, publications, signage and websites.

As lead creative or part of a larger team I draw on everything from my high-level involvement in client strategy meetings to a design sensibility built on a foundation of typographic skills. This lets me evolve award-winning design on any budget, from concept to reality.

POKERROOM.COM STATION DOMINATION In no other city in the world do you need a good poker face more than in New York. Surrounded by millions of strange people, a real New Yorker knows to never make eye contact or let anyone see what they’re thinking. Kind of like poker. The idea was to take photo portraits of real New Yorkers showing their best poker faces. Remember the long weekend Steve told his wife he was on a business trip and then we all headed north to go fishing? Then Dave and Mike got chased by that deer and had to sit in a tree for an hour. The next day Steve won the fishing derby after reeling in the largest bass any of us had ever seen. We capped it all off with a cold Steamwhistle. On Monday Steve ended up on the cover of the paper holding the fish and his beer. Busted.

During the summer of 2006 Steamwhistle was running a radio campaign asking for their bottles to be returned. My writing partner and I decided it was a great opportunity to do some innovative creative concepts. This advertising/marketing campaign includes Gorilla postering, newspaper ads, in-case promo cards, an interactive website, and a contest overlay to encourage people to return their empties.

2001-2002 ANNUAL REPORT This was the Tarragon’s first ever Annual.  he 32 page book was designed with the T extremely tight budget in mind. All photos were taken digitally in-house and writing done by the Tarragon. Printing: 2 Colour Size: 5.75” x 7”

“SIDE MAN” POSTER The artwork of Toronto Illustrator Jacqui Oakley was a perfect fit for the play ”Side Man” at the Tarragon. Along with the posters, ran a series of B&W Ads.
