We should pray to God much more than we do. There is great strength and blessing in praying together in our families, with and for our children. When my children have done wrong, and I have talked with them kindly and then prayed with them, I have never found it necessary after that to punish them. Their hearts would melt in tenderness before the Holy Spirit that came in answer to prayer.21 {CG 525.1}

Our world church voted recently to encourage all congregations, not to omit the review of the Sabbath School lesson on a Sabbath morning especially when there is a specialty program. Sabbath School quarterlies, for fourth quarter, are ready to be picked up at the Conference headquarters.

The Savannah Church presents the Ten Commandments Series, beginning October 28. This series will run for ten days on Friday, Sabbath, Sunday and Wednesdays. Look out for details.


The sports arm of Youth Ministries is resurrecting the Annual Church Sports day in November. It promises to be a time of family togetherness, fun, and fellowship for all. There will be activities for everyone to participate in.
