Dear Parents / Guardians

Bígí linn Next week we will be celebrating Seachtain na Gaeilge. There will be lots of fun activities for the children. On Wednesday renowned poet Louis de Paor will visit the Senior Classes and do a workshop with them. On Friday David Healy of Sky One’s Gotta Dance fame will dance at our assembly. The children will be making a very special effort to speak as much Irish as possible. Staff will be watching out for the class and children who are making the most effort. Again, as always, we invite anyone who might be able to contribute any particular skills or talents to Seachtain na Gaeilge to come in and join us. We will be having a special assembly on Friday morning to celebrate Irish culture. We encourage the children to get festive and wear green on this day. You are very welcome to attend.

Children’s Safety Please drive carefully when you drop children off or when you collect them. We’ve had numerous complaints from parents about cars speeding down the road outside the school. PLEASE SLOW DOWN CONGRATULATIONS 5TH CLASS! We are very proud of all Fifth Class pupils who were nominated recently for the Junior Spider Awards in the category of Best Project. Well done! Spring Sing Song You are invited to hear the children sing a variety of songs on March 21st at 7pm. Come along and be uplifted.
