One World Week…

One World Week It’s that time of the year again! As part of the tradition of our school we are organising “One World Week” once again, commencing Monday 28th May. We have more than 40 countries represented in our school. With this in mind, parents are invited to school to share and celebrate all cultures in our school community. The week will culminate with an International Bazaar on Thursday 31st May in the school hall.

We are looking for all available parents (and friends!) to come and set up an International Bazaar in the school hall on Thursday 31st May. We need colour, costumes, food, music, books, arts and crafts from your native country. If you would like to be involved in this wonderful event please inform your child’s class teacher by Friday 11th May.

We are also inviting parents to share a native song, dance, story or food recipe with their child’s class during One World Week. Please let your child’s class teacher know if you’re available to do something. If you have any queries please contact Sinead Carroll in the Language Unit (room one), Martina or Krista.

Please support us in organising this wonderful event.
