Parent’s Association News Class Reps needed! The parent’s association held elections for a new committee at the AGM before Christmas, however turn out on the night was low and we need to find more parents willing to join us on the committee. We meet every two or three weeks for half an hour, either at 9am or 1.45pm, in the parent’s room at school. We have decided to look for two class representatives from each class in the school so that the PA is representative of our whole school community. We have lots of things to organize between now and the end of the year, including a table quiz, ordering and selling hoodies and t-shirts with the school logo, gardening, updating the family directory etc. If you feel that you would like to get involved and that you have a couple of hours a week to spare, please call Jayme on 087 2039971. PA Survey In the coming weeks the parent’s association will be devising a survey to collect the opinions of all parents in the school regarding what you think the PA should be doing, how you feel you could become involved (and also what has stopped you from becoming involved in the past), and what talents and skills you have that you could contribute to the PA. We will also be looking for all of your ideas and suggestions! We feel that the PA needs to be revitalized and we can’t do it alone, so please help us to get this done by taking part in our survey! The PA Notice board The notice board outside Ester’s office is designated as a parent’s information board. In recent times, however, it has been taken over by advertisements. This has made it difficult for us to use it for information that is directly related to The Parent’s Association and school activities. For this reason we have decided that in the future ads will be kept in a folder on the table. &&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&-
