Welcome to our second annual Bull and Heifer sale. We would like to start by thanking our past buyers,bidders and visitors of our program. Your interest keeps us excited to produce the best cattle we can.
Our herd is built off a foundation of top females we have searched out and purchased from across Canada. We are starting to accumulate daughters from these females slowly building herd size to maintain a high level of quality in them. We do utilize a lot of embryo work and AI to increase the number of offspring from targeted matings.
Our bulls are known for being easy keeping, large framed and will add pounds and function ability to their offspring. Our commercial heifers are a blend of Simmental and Angus genetics. They are from top walking bulls and AI sires to make a very versatile and performance blended female.

In most bull sale catalogs you will see herd sire as reference but we thought it was fitting to use Darlin’ as most of our bulls in the sale are out of her or goes back to her! Where do we even start with this female? She is a female that has got us to where we are today! 4H in 2022 had an incredible show year from winning 2 supremes, undefeated Simmental female and being Simmental show female of the year. Her progeny have been highly sought after averaging over $27,000 whether it’s bulls or females. To look at Darlin’ she is everything we want in a cow, big bodied, great foot, awesome haired and incredible udder. She is a female that it doesn’t matter what colour she is, you just want more of them like her.

Here’s a pair of full brothers sired by SVS Rancher. Two big powerful individuals that are going to add pounds to your steers calves. They are long spined, deep ribbed and stout. 19N was the heaviest bull we weaned September 8th weighing 950 pounds. 25N has always shown lots of muscle expression since a young age being one the stoutest bulls in the pen.

He’s 4H’s natural calf coming to you with a bit of a different pedigree. This might have not been the plan to breed her this way but it really clicked with this cow. He is the youngest bull in the offering. He is still holding in there with all the older bulls and shows lots of early maturity. Built like all 4H progeny moderate, big ribbed and big hipped. The females out of him should be second to none.
Here’s a red bull that just comes to you honest, long, stout made, good haired and big footed. With a pedigree like his, the guess work done so highly material. 10k is a full sib to the donor cow we sold in the world sale to Double Bar D $40,000 for half. He is off a bull we bought from Robb Farms that has worked great on our purebred cows. 10k son last year sold in our sale going to S and S Simmentals.

Was the only calf we got to this mating but I wish we had more. This bull catches your attention when you walk in the pen, he is soft made, may be one of the squarest hipped bulls in the pen yet still has a real great look. When you study his pedigree you will see lots of females and sires that have played a big role in the Simmental breed.
Here comes one of the feature lots. This is a bull that gets noticed by everyone that tours. He has that clean front end, huge bodied, stout and has that blaze that everyone is chasing. This is a bull with a little different twist to his pedigree. 13L was a heifer calf off 4H that was a spitting image maybe even with a little more growth. We retained his full sister in our herd that we ended up selling half to Balisky Farms privately with the plans to campaign her down the road. We also sold a material sister in FNL to Horner Cattle Company.
Here comes the first black bull of the Darlin’ group sired by Right Time this is an exclusive sire here in Canada. Here’s a bull with extra length and frame that is going to punch up your calves whether you’re making steer or heifer calves. He was the only bull to 3 heifers that honestly made me think that this was one of the best flushes that we’ve done. We sold one of his full sib sisters in the Evolution to Double RN for $20,000.

When we started talking about getting into the Simmental breed we knew we needed to own an elite female. So we started making phone calls to see what was out there and this is the female they told us about and we are glad we got her bought. 993G has been a no miss cow it doesn’t matter what we flush her to it always clicks. We have retained lots of her progeny in our herd and plan to keep doing it. Her females have been feminine, big bodied and make awesome cows. The bulls have always been sale features and ones that have stood out when people come to tour. 993G is a cow that we will keep flushing every year to keep making more because they’re ones you’d like a herd of!

From a young age these Dewalt bulls have always stood out from the group. When I got talking to Taylor from Bohrson Marketing Services about flushing 993G he recommended that we try her with a fullblood. I thought it maybe was crazy at the start but after seeing how it turned out we are impressed. Both the bulls and females from this mating are at the top of our pens. Whichever one you pick I don’t think you can go wrong.

Twin Baldy bulls. These guys come to you in a moderate, heavy muscled package. 7N was raised on the dam while 8N was raised by one of our commercial cows. 50H is a past high seller out of the Quality Control sale. She is a black baldy cow that has an amazing udder and every year she weans off a big calf. We have retained a bull for our own use and few daughters as well. The sire of these bulls is a bull we bought from Lewis Farms. He was everything we were looking for out crossed pedigree, awesome haired and big performance.

These two material sibs are pedigree stacked bulls. 35N comes to you in a big frame, long as a train and might just be the hairiest bull in the offering. Where 32N comes to you in a more moderate package with so much muscle expression and masculinity. Both these bulls are out of a female that we teamed up with Black Gold Simmentals and KT Ranches, a female that we believed was a female that we must own.

We only have one angus bull this year through our embryo program. 85N is the result of an embryo we bought from Peak Dot Ranches. We have bought a few embryos now and they always turn out. 85N comes to you in a moderate easy fleshing package with lots of shape. We have retained his full sister to our replacement pen as she is a big broody female.

TWIN SPRINGS COMMERCIAL HEIFERS
A group of Simmental and Angus cross heifers that will sell in small groups. The heifers will mostly be black that are easy fleshing, good bodied and sound. These heifers are sired by leading AI sires or our own herd bulls from Greenwood, Lewis Farms and Bulls we raised. Due to being in the drought zone this year our heifers were fed at Terry Hines Livestock Ltd. from October to February on a balanced TMR ration. These heifers will be palpated for breeding soundness.

DELIVERY
Option A: $250 off per lot if picked up within a week of the sale.
Option B: Free delivery on bulls to central points in Sask,AB,and Manitoba. Bulls will be delivered in April unless required sooner. The heifers need to be picked up by the purchaser as soon as possible.
SEMEN COLLECTION
All bulls will be semen tested,palpated and scrotal measured. Information will be available a few days prior to the sale. Twin Springs reserves the right to draw semen on any bull at our expense and the new owner’s convenience.
GUARANTEE
All bulls will carry the standard breeding guarantee as specified by the Canadian Simmental association. If a problem with your purchase please notify us as soon as possible. A credit will be given towards the purchase of another Twin Springs bull.
