Bidding: Each bull will be sold to the highest bidder. Bidding disputes: The Auctioneer will settle any disputes as to bids, and his decision on those matters will be final.
Terms: The terms of the sale are cash or cheque and the right of property shall not pass until after settlement is made. All settlements will be made with the clerks of the sale at BC Livestock Co-op immediately following the conclusion of the sale and before any cattle will be released from the sale facility. Each bull becomes the risk of the purchaser as soon as the gavel drops.
As always, Heart of the Valley guarantees to sell you a bull that is structurally sound, and has passed a semen test done by a licensed veterinarian.

Neither the owners, clerks, or anyone connected with the sale assumes any responsibility, legal or otherwise for damage, injury or loss of any kind.
Should any Heart of the Valley bull fail to be a satisfactory breeder and unable to physically service a female, he will be replaced with a bull of equal or greater value. If this is not possible, an adjustment will be made to reflect the value of the bull in question – or a credit will be given towards the purchase of another bull from Heart of the Valley. Things do go wrong sometimes and we will be there to back up our sale guaranteed. So you can be rest assured that we will provide you with a sound breeding bull, and we will be there to assist you should a problem arise.
Announcements: Changes of information that are contained in this catalogue will be corrected by announcements from the block at sale time, & shall take precedence over any printed matter.
We will however not provide replacement, adjustment or credit for any physical injury, sickness, mismanagement, damaged testicles or deterioration of semen quality after a successful test.
Semen: Heart of the Valley Farms reserves the right to collect semen on any bull sold through this sale for in herd use only, unless otherwise stated. This semen will be collected at the seller’s expense and at the buyer’s convenience.

Certificate of Registry: A Registration Certificate and transfer for each registered bull will be sent to the buyer after full payment has been settled. Buyer Registration: Buyers please register for a buyer number with the clerks at BC Livestock, prior to bidding and purchasing a bull. Online buyers will need to register with DLMS Cattle Inspection: All bulls carry permanent ID tags that correspond to sale Lot numbers. All will be available for Inspection prior to the sale.
If you should have any problems with a bull you must IMMEDIATELY contact Heart of the Valley directly at firstname.lastname@example.org or 250-897-0619. We will require that your veterinarian complete a report and have that report scanned and emailed to us at Heart of the Valley. If the bull dies, a post mortem report will be required, with photo and tattoo identification of the bull. Heart of the Valley retains the right to request another veterinarian complete a 2nd report at their discretion and cost.
