Guarantee: All bulls are guaranteed to be satisfactory breeders in accordance with the Canadian Simmental Association guidelines. Should a problem occur, barring physical injury or mismanagement, a bull of equal value or a credit will be issued towards the purchase of another bull.
Delivery: Free delivery to central points in AB and SK as well as to the MB border. Delivery will begin at about APRIL 1st at the seller’s and buyer’s convenience. Take your bull home sale day and save $200 per bull. Bulls returning to seller’s farm should be insured. Any bulls left after April 15th, there will be a $5/day charge and to be picked up by the purchaser.
Semen Reserve: We reserve the right to draw semen for in herd use on any bull in this catalogue. Semen will be drawn at our expense and the buyer’s convenience.
Health: All bulls will be vet checked, scrotal measured, weighed and semen tested. All bulls are treated with Noromectin Ultrabac 7/somnicgen, Pyramid 4/response and double vaccinated with fusoguard.

Erin, Mia, Avery and I would like to welcome you to our third annual bull sale. It’s a great time to be in the cattle business seeing record prices last fall. Mia & Avery continue to grow up in front of our eyes and are becoming more and more helpful around the farm everyday. They keep Erin busy traveling to hockey, ball, and 4H among other things, Erin is also very busy with her Kindergarten class. No better time than now to say a huge thank you to Mom and Dad for all their dedication to the farm. Dad is always up for hauling cattle to pasture or the market, never says no to parts runs, and hauls bales off the field faster than we can make them. Mom continues to keep track of all the cattle records, has made every round bale we have, and is with me day and night with the cattle. She knows and loves cattle.
We are extremely proud in the quality of our offering. The bulls are a very solid and functional set. They came off pasture for weaning and have been on a silage based TMR with a Bullseye bull developer pellet ever since. We want the bulls to be in good flesh, but not over conditioned to give them the best chance of a long future in front of them. We are both a purebred breeder and commercial cattlemen and feel bulls can’t just work in the showring but must produce in their true environment. We will stand behind our bulls, and we hope your purchases make you nothing but profitable.
Lastly, we would like to thank Ken for allowing us to partner in the sale again this year. He has not only been a strong believer in our program but continues to support our girls in their rural lifestyle. He has been there to see their growth and achievements in 4H and recently gifted them a bred heifer to start their own herd.

Here is a bull that can do a program a world of good. Nestle is the only polled fullblood we have on offer and a true sale feature. So dark red he almost appears to have a tinge of black! Nitro is very easy to spot in a deep pen of bulls and catches your eye almost immediately. Thick topped, deep sided with an expressive quarter. An athletic bull that moves like a cat, Nitro is built to cover ground and I would expect him to hold up under heavy service. I hate to see him leave, but I love to watch him walk away.

With that added frame size we seek, Napa’s extra length and stretch will no doubt consistently generate those heavy market topping calves. He carries himself with ease on a good set of feet and legs, which make him an excellent choice for a program looking to add pounds without sacrificing functionality. Napa also might just be the most docile bulls in the pen. Let him quietly go to work and improve a herd.
Very similar in make-up to Lot 44, Nixon is a very well balanced and hard to fault. The kind that could be used on grass calvers, 2nd calvers, or add some chrome to them angus cows…..Don’t matter how you use him, just use him!

I feel Nero sometimes gets overlooked in a deep pen of bulls. He is rugged, deep sided and heavy muscled in a moderate package. Dark liver red with those perfect double goggles and has a great disposition to go with it.
Working with Grassy Flat Ranch on their bull’s nutrition program has been great. Dusty and his family want their bull pen developed correctly and safely without cutting corners. They are very keen seedstock producers with a great eye for cattle and I hope that you can make it in person to see this set of bulls.
The bull development program is built to maximize forage utilization and gut health. All forages are sampled and analyzed to ensure quality feed sources are used. Once the calves are weaned, they are slowly transitioned to a TMR feed along with a complete feed pellet. The TMR is forage-based and is designed to promote lean muscle growth, allowing the bulls to express their genetic potential. Rumen health is of upmost importance, which is why a probiotic, suitable protein sources, and proper starch levels are fed to the bulls. Organic minerals are used both on the cow herd and sale bulls to ensure proper immune function and overall health.

Sometimes you just get one that feels like a Grand Slam and Nash is just that. We knew we had something special at a young age, but Nash has never taken a step back since. With only an 86lb birthweight, he cashed in our top weaning weight among all the bulls and continued to excel on feed ever since. He is a favorite among many astute cattlemen that have visited the bullpen. A great disposition, a solid foot with ample bone, and that sought after plum purple/red that is hard to come by. He has that next level degree of stoutness that must really be seen in person. Wide topped and bold through the center body that carries down low. Nash certainly checks all the boxes, and I challenge you to find a hiccup with this one.

Meadow View has always been a personal favorite of mine. One we halter broke for Stockade Round-up but ran out of time. A deep dark liver red, powerfully constructed bull built with that extra horsepower. He carries muscle deep into his lower quarter and has the foot and bone quality to last. His mother 18F is a cow I just love to show off and will have a flush date in her near future. The kind of bull that could be used by seed stock producers or commercial cattlemen alike.

Newberry is quite a unit. I would love to take credit, but that goes to Rendezvous choosing to breed his fullblood dam to a purebred herd sire. He has wicked eye appeal and so much natural muscling. Dark red, thick, deep, and quiet are all qualities he owns. Ranked in the top 20% and 25% in calving ease and birthweight respectively without sacrificing growth makes him an excellent choice for producers building an efficient profitable herd.

Nebraska has always remained one of the top red bulls in the pen. He has that long body that just flat out adds pounds. Although a high performance and heavy muscled bull with a ton of shape and power, he stems from a consistent cow line that will add quality and longevity to every generation.
Nox is a bull I really admire for obvious reasons. Dark red and tanky describe him best. Nox could be used in a variety of ways with his moderate birthweight. He is soft made, lots of middle and a good hind quarter. He’s a docile fella too!

Northstar is a bull that makes me stop in my tracks when I’m choring just to take a longer look. A moderate deep bodied Reddington son, one that is maternally focused and bred to build cow herds. He exhibits a soft easy fleshing look and stands on a solid correct foot. You will want to keep every female. A blazed faced NAC Tycoon son that certainly left his mark in the bullpen and gets noticed by visitors quite frequently. Norway is a very complete and well-rounded bull with a balanced EPD profile. He is deep and broody-made with lots of capacity making him a strong candidate for good females and heavy steers alike. One I hold in high regard.
Newport is a calm natured, heavy haired purebred that is complete as they come. Deep through his center, wide over the top and a stacked pedigree that brings together phenotype and genetic predictability. His picture doesn’t do him justice, this is one you will want to checkout in person.
