Cleaning the stretcher.

IBIOM stretcher must be cleaned regularly to remove dust and dirt. All mobile parts must be inspected to detect mechanical damage, wear and breaks. For example, any cracks, missing components, missing fasteners or any other visible damage that can affect the stretcher performance. Central lock must be checked and lubricated if needed. Refer to section 10.2 of this guide for lubrication procedure. Electric components must be inspected at attachment points, cables, wires and plugs for wear and breaks. Visually check mattresses to detect any visible wear, cuts.  Move stretcher completely up and down to detect any problem (noise, visible damage, loose component…).  Move back rest section completely up and down to detect any problem.  Move foot section completely up and down to detect any problem.  Open and close all mobile parts as safety sides and cardiac cutout to detect any problem. If noise can be heard when moving up or down stretcher, pivots must be greased. If so, refer to next section of this guide for greasing procedure.
