SCIENCE WEEK

.................................................................................................................................... Across the Federation of Catmose College and Catmose Primary, a science week will take place between 1 and 5 July 2013. Already organised are a Key Stage 1 trip to the Flag Fen archaeological site in Peterborough and a rocket making activity for Willow class led by a Professor from the University of Leicester. A wide variety of activities, assemblies and competitions will take place throughout the week and there will be something for everyone. As more events are organised we will update children, parents and guardians through In-Focus. This promises to be a fantastic opportunity to explore science for all Catmose Primary children.

CLASS FOCUS: BEECH CLASS

................................................................. Beech Class have been enjoying this term’s topic of Royalty. They have learnt about the Kings and Queens of the past. In response, the children created fantastic pictures based on King Henry VIII using colourful oil pastels. The children have also been busy practising their May Dance which they will be performing on Friday 24 May at the May dance Celebrations. Parents, family and friends are very welcome to come and watch the performance, which will also involve the other classes too.
