Blessings,

Prior to coming to Catholic Charities, I was homeless on the streets of San Francisco. I don’t take life for granted anymore. I chose life and Catholic Charities helped me get to that place.”

Catholic Charities has an outsized impact on poverty alleviation in San Francisco—with funding, with love, with feet on the ground doing the work. Its work to help the marginalized, the forgotten, the homeless, and the sick—regardless of religion or background—is one of the most important, yet least-understood stories in our city today.”

PHIL CLARK, CATHOLIC CHARITIES BOARD OF DIRECTORS & COMMUNICATIONS EXECUTIVE

My tutor at Catholic Charities helps me with my reading – I’ve improved a lot! And, I’m doing better in school because of the help I get after school at Catholic Charities. We do our homework and get to play fun games. It’s great!”
