On the other side of the universe, far away in another galaxy much like the Milky Way Galaxy but it has about twelve planets instead of nine. The galaxy’s sun seems to be much older than the one found in the Milky Way Galaxy. There is a planet that seems to resemble Earth but it is a little bit bigger in measurement (not by much) but it sustains water, oxygen and all of the proper minerals found on worlds that are much similar to Earth. The name of the planet is called Ka’Ta’Ri’Ah. The English pronunciation was later added to simply it to

Cateria only due to the fact that the aliens that live on the planet resemble humanoid looking cats. For some reason on this planet they spoke a direct language that was almost similar to English but it was broken up and changed it bit. There was some connection that was never revealed why this was and how things were related like that in a galaxy on the other side of the universe.

Cateria Cateria was a nice planet and had a great atmosphere and the waters were clean and pure with the exception that the civilization on the planet is catlike humanoids that survived under a warrior type upbringing. In early years of the oldest known intelligent historic recordings things were vicious, brutal and death came quick to anybody who was looking for trouble. There weren’t countries or any divided up land masses, just various corners of the planet ruled by various emperor, sovereigns or kings. Most of the time the “Caterians” of this planet often battled with other empires over foolish reasons that never amounted to anything but more dead bodies. At the end of the battles each side would collect their dead and have what they called personal “Burning fields” where they would stack the warriors that died in battle and burn their bodies and have a ceremony based on their brave events and heroicness. In the beginning, Caterians used to lead their armies by race of breed but after many thousands of years with breeding and crossing over the pure blood of a Caterian did not last long and most warriors went off into the direction of their corner of their world by their believes and who they stood by when it came to the politics of some of the warriors. Throughout the centuries as technology advanced there were many famous warriors that came and went. There was a warrior known as Man’te who resembled a Bengal tiger with the most athletic and strong bodies in the history of Cateria. He crawled from the wreckage of the medieval hell of a world and rose to the top with warriors that followed him and praised his name. Man’te just was one of the best and he was able to unite the empires from the north and the south and eventually combining the eastern half of the world by crossing the large oceans to finally battle the most powerful empire of the world to the west that was the strongest Sovereign world of Cateria. Man’te felt he could rule the entire planet of Cateria with an invasion of the biggest land mass on the planet from everybody that followed him on the eastern hemisphere. Of course when the armies of the east came over they did not build enough boats to travel the untamed oceans to fight the empire of the west. Most of the east that survived the battle had left and were ordered to scatter among the woods and wait awhile the others arrived in more boats. The battles seemed to continue for what seemed like years until one day Man’te was able to climb the walls of the empire gates and get inside. There was no other Caterian like Man’te and his ability to get inside the walls of the west empire was what everyone feared. The western monarch whose name was Ra’jar’U was a prominent leader who had been in place for five years after his father died a five years ago of natural causes. Ra’jar’U was a good fighter and trained most of his life but the one person he feared in the world was Man’te. His people kept assuring Ra’jar’U that Man’te would never be crazy enough to show himself over here let alone sneak into the city and empire. Ra’jar’U rested well at night with his wife at his side and thirteen children with over fifty armed guards throughout the palace knowing and believing it was impossible for Man’te to get in but Ra’jar’U would soon learn on his trip to the bathroom area on the other side of the hallway that his worst night mare would

come through as Man’te pinned a spear to the bottom of his throat and told him to give him silence and breathe easy. “I am not interested in war anymore,” Ra’jar’U said, “All I care about is my wife and my kids.” “If you are trying to get on my symphony you are failing fast,” Man’te said, “you don’t have any idea what it took for me to get in this palace? I crawled through your shit and I crawled through the scorching lights and swam underneath the trenches of the deepest moats. Nothing can keep me out and nothing will stop me from killing you. I just want you to know who killed you and perhaps we can make a deal and I would take this land from you and I will be king of this entire planet. I did not get this way because I liked to crawl through shit.” “You are good Man’te,” Ra’jar’U said, “I have been waiting for you to show up. I have been feeling I have a lot of traitors in my staff and I knew that you didn’t have it that hard to make it in here. My ruling of this land has been in my family for a long time and maybe it is time for me to step aside and see what your world can do for this country. Maybe I do not want to be in this position anymore? Maybe I just want to live a normal life. People like you and maybe there is a reason for that.” “I used to hear great stories about you Ra’jar’U,” Man’te said, “Even your father was a great warrior. I often wanted to meet you face to face and have this fight to the death and give me something worth fighting for.” “Look at me Man’te,” Ra’jar’U, “I am aging and my right eye is missing. Maybe ten years ago I could have given you a run for your money. I would not go down easy my friend but in the end you would take my life and not only would I be dead my children and my wife would learn that I was dead. I cannot tolerate to leave them and I would be willing to step down from my position if you promise to spare my life.” So the two warriors came out of the bath area and began to walk through the palace in the dark. Ra’jar’U peaking in on his wife and kids as the two walked down the large stairs of the enormous castle. Man’te could not believe how large this castle was. There was nothing back east that was this big and the fact he was here and the enemy was surrendering himself without a fight was also an incredible moment. “In this room here we will sign the treaty and allow you and your army to take my empire,” Ra’jar’U said as he pushed a large heavy door open. To Manta’s surprise there was about thirteen of the most bad ass looking warriors in there waiting for Ra’jar’U. Man’te backed up with his spear and then gave Ra’jar’U a look. “Who are these people?” asked Man’te. “These people are my warriors,” Ra’jar’U said, “If you are as good as you claim you should have no problem defeating all of these men but I am not holding my breath. Every one of them has fought in some kind of battle and things just don’t get easy for these warriors.” “Die animal!” screamed a bunch of warriors as they came at Man’te. It looked like a slaughter as they backed up out into the large foyer area of the palace. Thirteen of the best Caterian soldiers all coming after one quick and nimble little tiger warrior that dived through mid air in cannon ball moves while everyone took slices at him and missed.

The battle seemed to take place for over twenty minutes until after awhile most of the main warriors were growing tired and starting to fade. Man’te knew he could not last long against these killers. Wherever he went he knew there was somebody hunting him down. Man’te made his way to the roof of the castle and was wounded as the dark eyed warrior named Kaspess who had hunted him down. Everyone in the palace knew by now that Man’te was on the roof. The two warriors battled it out and they both were tired with exhaustion and it didn’t seem like anybody was going to get the upper hand. Man’te climbed around the back of a small chimney stack that was in the middle of the roof. When he came around the corner the one known as Ra’jar’U

jumped out and impaled Man’te with a long sword. Blood oozed from Man’te’s throat as he fell to his knees. Kaspess and Ra’jar’U picked up the dying body of Man’te and lifted him up over the edge where now there were hundreds of onlookers below cheering. “The empire of the east will no longer be a threat to us!” Ra’jar’U shouted, “We will no longer be taken or conquered. Spread the world along with anybody down there that is a spy to the east. We will find you and you will die like your leader!” The dying body of Man’te was tossed over the edge and he fell about fifteen stories until he hit the ground with a large thump with blood and guts all over. The cheers from everyone below as Ra’jar’U looked like a champion. Little do they know that Ra’jar’U was a coward and tricked Man’te with kindness and tricked him and lead him to his death. Ra’jar’U’s rule would continue for another twenty years and all though he never really united the world under one empire. It was pretty much self-spoken for everyone to get along and mind their business and pay no attention to the west. Though often both sides did many trades and did traded many things , the idea of war just went away for nearly three thousand years keeping the planet from its barbaric rule that turned into a high tech world that evolved after a few thousand more years of evolution and a change in the way Caterians think. In the modern times, statues of Ra’jar’U, Kaspess, Man’te and several other warriors stretched throughout the land. The history of the brutal times of Cateria had become well known throughout the history books and even to the modern times of their latest king whose name was Aiviak who had descended to the throne through the royal blood of the kingdom. The modern day rulers were a part of a system of the “pure bloods” of Cateria and when Aiviak’s father had vanished after a royal trip to the east for a visitation. Many rumors started about the East of Cateria where starting up another attack on the castle after nearly six thousand years? Of course rumors flew hard on Cateria as time went by and the warriors of yesterday were now equipped with armored soldier’s with high tech armor and energy rifles designed with some of the greatest technology every designed. The reason for the latest advancements in technology was because of the latest explorations to space and other planets since the creation of the warp speed ships that could travel through sub space and were helping the Caterians discover new ways to travel through sub space. The space department on Cateria was traveling and moving forward and by the time Aiviak took over for his father, the Caterian race had joined up with the Federation of Planets and met up with aliens from other worlds to trade stuff with and bring back things from other worlds. It was a dawn of a new age and later through arranged marriage from the Eastern side of Cateria, Aiviak No matter how better things got with technology it seemed that Cateria was always heading back to the direction that they originally started. Even though the planet seemed to be living in harmony all it took is for one warrior to spring up in the East by the name of Jurguban who started to bring up propaganda about Aiviak and the kingdom of the new world. Jurgubans sort of became a terrorist and began gathering followers that started to make statements throughout Cateria. They began blowing up buildings, killing innocent people and doing all kinds of acts which was causing a great deal of stress among Aiviak who had just married the woman who would become queen and bare him his first child whose name was Kennio which meant the “Lionhearted” and of course his name would later be changed to “Lionheart” years later. Jurguban came across a type of terrorist toxin called “Mutex”. It was the first time anyone of Cateria had ever heard of chemicals being used as weapons until one of Jurguban’s followers dropped a Mutex bomb on a crowd of civilians in the big city below. The Mutex was dangerous and it began to make people sick and some kind of virus began spreading around that started killing off Caterians in the area. Aiviak put his scientists to good use as the Mutex started spreading like wildfire throughout the area. Finally a message arrived for Aiviak from Jurguban. It was made one a specially designed data plug that arrived. Aiviak’s people plugged it into his viewing machine after they tested it. It was the first time that Aiviak got a look at Jurguban.

“I am assuming the people of Cateria have delivered this message to their leader Aiviak,” Jurguban said, “I just wanted to extend a friendly hello to the leader of the world and ask him if you like my messages I have been leaving? I apologize about that little Mutex example in the down town triangle of your main city. I don’t have any plans anytime soon my friend but I do have a request. You see, you are leader of the free world and I am a wanted terrorist with my face plastered all over the planet and now they are turning up at space stations making it hard for me to really go anywhere without the aid of my people. I would like to call a truce to the madness I have brought on your people. My desires for world domination are not even in my foreseeable future. I just want to maybe rethink things because this planet has been so peaceful for over six thousand years of our existence. Maybe we need to look back at our ancestors and see what they did resolve things?” There was something strange about Jurguban. He was about seven foot one and he had Caterian like features with blue fur and a long tail. His hands and arms were large with long claws coming from his paw-like hands. His teeth were abnormally big that were so sharp they almost looked like they could bite through steel. There was a strange hunch to his enormous height as his eyes almost twinkled with a red rightness to them. Jurguban didn’t look like an average Caterian because of his size and his enormous size and strangeness to him. He had some kind of leather armor with a metal shoulder pad with the strange shaped edged spike. He had a weird semi tar blade and a strange staff with a point at the end and a set of horns on the other end. He kept talking into the camera t indicate that he was not done... “I want you to realize something Aiviak,” Jurguban said, “If it does come down to me and you I will not think twice about taking your life. You know Aiviak the only reason you stand in that position is because one ancestor who many look up to as a great ruler named Man’te and he had made his way into the very palace in which you rule. He was tricked into believing that he had called a truce with your people and when he turned his back he was brutally murdered. In some way I feel like I am seeking revenge for the believers in Man’te and his great skills that were taken from him. So watch your back emperor, your world is about to come crashing down when I am in position to move.” The transmission on the video stick ended. Aiviak sat there for a moment with his armed guards standing in the wing. His advisor looked down at him in confusion. “Forgive me master,” the advisor spoke, “Wasn’t that a history tale from over three thousand years ago?” “Indeed,” Aiviak said, “There have always been a few nut cases that follow history and believe things should be a certain way and they stick to this old story about this warrior named Man’te that was betrayed and slaughtered here. Honestly it happened way before our time but since it involves this empire a lot of nut cases always seem to find an excuse to use it as a part of their modern religion or what makes them tick. This Jurguban guy is a maniac and he doesn’t look right. He almost looks like a victim of Mutex if you haven’t noticed the strangeness of his appearance. I need to look into him a tad bit more before I decide what we are going to do with him. We know who he is and we know what he looks like. It would take our best men a day or two to flush him out.” “Should I speak to our warriors about him?” asked the advisor. “Yes please inform all of the soldiers to be on a full scale alert of this idiot,” Aiviak said, “Pass this transmission around and upload a freeze frame of this character’s appearance so that everyone knows what he looks like.” “Yes sir,” the advisor replied.

As the months dragged on the pest known as Jurguban started to become a major pest over in the East and Aiviak decided to send thousands of troops over there to hunt him down and protect the innocent people who were being hurt from his Mutex and terrorist actions.

Before Cateria knew it the planet was on a full scale war between the Western soldier peace keepers and Jurguban and his so called “rebellion”. Many people believed that the Western Peace keepers were nothing but corruptive and everything that was wrong with the world was blamed on them through false propaganda presented by Jurguban’s people. A lot of easterners got involved in the war only because they believed that there freedom was about to be taken away. Jurguban told everyone that the Western Peacekeepers had come to take over the entire war and change the laws. It basically got a lot of naive people on Jurguban’s side and through fancy holograms and video presentations, a war broke out and people began to die. Unfortunately what Aiviak wanted to do was stop Jurguban and save the easterners from his terrorism and Mutex made it worse. The war was now starting to turn up on the western shore and it wasn’t long before the wars were breaking out on the very streets. Jurguban called for the destruction of the Western empire and offered a large bounty for the head of Aiviak. Of course everyone that worked for the Western Government knew that Jurguban was a bold faced liar and he didn’t have the proper amount of nothing to offer a bounty but still it forced the western empire to upgrade security to protect Aiviak, his wife and his young son Kennio. Weeks went by and even the months had passed and the planet of Cateria was starting to lose their mind. It would not be long before they came through that palace wall and took down the entire castle. There were so many armed guards with weapons waiting for a battle. Meanwhile the streets and homes of the nearby cities and towns were now over run with battle, dying people poisoned with Mutex and what used to be an organized planet has now turned into a viscous and corrupt world of its former self. “It’s not going to be long before this palace is going to be coming down,” one of the main guards spoke to Aiviak, “you have to think of your safety along with your family.” “I can’t just flee and leave you all here to die,” Aiviak said. “No, but I can at least get your wife and child to a safe planet or at least away from here,” another one of Aiviak’s combat soldier’s added, “We are good at what we do. We have protective suits to keep that stuff from getting in.” “Do you know a place where my wife and child would be safe?” asked Aiviak. “There is places south of here near the caps,” another one of Aiviak’s guards spoke, “We can take them down there until this blows over. We can’t focus on trying to finding Jurguban when we are always...” “I understand,” Aiviak said, “Protecting the palace has been priority but it can’t stand forever. This is a very critical moment in history and we have to act fast before we are all dead and Jurguban is standing right here over our dead bodies.” “That will never happen in a million years,” another guard spoke up, “maybe you should to the place near the south pole with your family.” “I am no good dead Helgar,” Aiviak said, “Can you get my family safe to this place?” “Yes,” the guard named Helgar said, “I have part arctic Caterian blood in my soul. I know the south islands and the tropic jungles like the back of my hands. I will leave as soon as possible.” “It would be wise,” Another guard added, “they are starting to lose the battle at the foothills near the wall of the palace. Lots of crazy Mutex infected people are trying to get in. It would be wise if you got into your protective suit.” “Just get my family safe first!” Aiviak said, “I am going to talk to them. Helgar please come with me to take the fear out of this. We’ll sugar coat this, the best we can.” Days later, just as Helgar predicted the walls fell and all the poisoned people came rushing in. All the guards could do is fight back and take them down. It was like the Mutex literally killed and infected the people and their brains became like blank slates and they turned into some kind of mindless cannibals that came in through the broken wall, foaming at the mouths and bleeding from their eyes. Most of their fur on their bodies had fallen off their bodies as their once healthy skin was now pale, rotting flesh and covered in scabs.

Aiviak wanted to make a difference but it was one of his guards named Velmor that took him to one of the escape ships at the last minute. They both strapped themselves in the ship as Velmor took off and blasted out the back side of the large storage hangar that kept the palace ships. Aiviak looked back as his palace that had survived so many centuries was now burning and falling apart and covered in many of his people poisoned with the deadly Mutex. “That son of a bitch Jurguban took it all from me Velmor,” Aiviak said as he adjusted the belt to make sure he was strapped down tight. “I have several friends on neighboring planets that can help us,” Velmor said, “We have always had a good friendship with Egabok. They will help us and give us supplies and...” “There is nothing left of my Kingdom!” Aiviak said, “They are all poisoned with that nasty Mutex. The only things we can do are drop a fire bomb on them and scorch the entire city. There is nothing to go back for. Maybe we can find Helgar and the small cities on the island that...” “Helgar said everything is fine and to find safety,” Velmor said, “We can at least land on Egabok and remain there for many months until we can figure something out.” “I would rather die than spend a day on Egabok,” Aiviak said, “That place is a swamp infest crap shack with nothing but lizards and swamp land all over. It is no place for a Caterian to live especially ones like me who despise water especially unclear water with creatures living on it.” “No offense Aiviak there is nothing on Cateria to go back to,” Velmor said, “you have any other place besides Egabok that would be safe?” “My world Cateria! I have a family there blast you!” Aiviak. “If you don’t mind me saying so you are no longer the emperor and I do not have to listen to you!” Velmor said. “I will have you for treason!” Aiviak shouted. “Don’t worry,” Velmor laughed, “We are going to Egabok and there is a little surprise for you by the name of Jurguban is waiting for you. In fact there is a whole welcoming party waiting and I am just taking you there as soon as we pass through this....gak!” Aiviak jammed a spiked laser gun level device in the side of Velmor’s neck. He didn’t even see it coming as he tried to regain control of the vessel as Aiviak dragged him from the driver’s seat and got on top of him and began to choke him. “I will find everyone of you God damn traitors and hunt you down!” Aiviak said as he choked Velmor who was bleeding from the neck. “Aaagghh!” Velmor said as his lights went out from the angry Aiviak. Aiviak quickly got up and moved to the controls. The ship was spinning out of control and way off course and traveling through sub space. Aiviak quickly pulled the lever back and reduced the speed to come out of sub space. Velmor must have accidentally kicked the switch when Aiviak stabbed him with the leveler. Now there was a problem. The ship was strangely acting funny and was not used to traveling that fast for a long period of time. The ship was losing power as Velmor was lying on the ground moaning. “You son of a bitch betrayed me and now we are lost!” Aiviak said, “You kicked the sub space controls and shot me way off course!” The ship shot around a large red planet and could finally see a planet that had blue and green coloring like Cateria. For a moment, Aiviak actually thought it was Cateria until he noticed that the land masses were much different in sizes and if Aiviak didn’t land the ship somewhere soon it was going to run out of power and eventually he will die. Aiviak clamped his helmet shut to avoid any deadly rays in the atmosphere as

he shot down toward this new world he had never seen. Aiviak just picked a sport (Somewhere above Central America near New Mexico) as he came down to the ground faster and faster. This was probably the fifth time Aiviak has ever tried to land a ship by himself. Velmor’s body was thrown back against the wall and with his protective helmet off he began to cook alive from the ship as it dropped faster and faster leaving a trail of fire behind it. Aiviak kept control and adjusted the heating systems and made a break for it as he saw a field of trees below him in a thick alley way ahead of him. Piloting the ship, ripping through the tree tops as a loud thud followed and a really bad crash took place as the impact literally destroyed the ship and the only that kept Aiviak alive was the fact the computer ejected him with a cushion seat where he landed several meters away, crashing through an empty barn. The spaceship literally exploded and the barn set into a monstrous blaze that brought the owners out of their homes at exactly 4 am in the morning. An older man with overalls who must have been the owner of the house was out there and within three minutes about five or six fire trucks pulled up and started battling the blaze. “What in God’s Green Earth made my barn burn like that?” asked a Farmer named Ed Jones. “Get back sir!” the blaze is coming out of that barn like a furnace!” One of the Firemen shouted back, “You might want to clear out anything in your house in case your house catches fire.” “You God damn firemen don’t tell me to move out of my house!” Farmer Jones yelled, “You just get that God damn barn a fixed and I won’t have to bitch at you incompetent pieces of shit.” “We’re warning you!” another Fireman shouted as they held onto one of the houses from the fire trucks and kept shooting the water into the barn. It seemed like nothing happened, the flames just kept getting worse and worse.” “I’m going to call in a second water truck in from the station,” another Fireman said, “If we had more hoses on it we might be able to snuffle it out. Does Farmer Jones have all his gas turned off?” “That’s what he said,” another fireman replied, “We double checked and there is no gas running. Hard to say what’s burning in there but let’s get that other hose truck!” After about another hour, the barn burned down to the ground with nothing to salvage. The firemen saved the day and also made the news papers. The owner of the barn claimed he had no idea what hit it. People that lived around the area said they saw a comment fall from the sky and soon people started talking about comets and what not but there was nothing left to be found to prove anything. It was just a bunch of rumors and a wet ground now with smoldering boards. It was 1969 and the summer was not dry in New Mexico, in fact it started to rain right after the firemen left. The farmer’s daughter whose name was Maria Jones had finally come outside after the rain to investigate what had happened to the barn. She could not believe it was leveled and she had lots of memories of playing in there as a kid back when they stored pigs in there before Farmer Jones sold them so that he could raise crops and focus more on vegetables instead of the pigs which seemed to be less of a mess. “I’m just thankful we had no livestock in there Maria,” Farmer Jones said to his daughter. “It’s OK Daddy,” Maria said, “We have always been looking for away to clear this old eye soar out of the way. Now we have a reason to get rid of it now. By the way, do you mind if I take the truck into town? I need to get a few female products and I promised to be back in the next hour or so.”

“Oh hell take it for as long as you like,” Farmer Jones said, “Your Uncle Carl is down with his boys to help clear that pile of shit. Just stay away from boys and pick me up a copy of the Dailey Reader.” “Gotcha Daddy,” Maria smiled as she climbed into the old truck and began to drive toward town taking the old back roads. Back in 1969 they had a few good radio stations most of them country but when Maria adjusted the station she could find some good rock stations coming in. Maria loved the song “No Time” by the Guess who and as she was driving down endless corn fields a strange being dressed head to toe in what appeared to be metal ran across the highway and she accidentally clipped him with the truck. The man spun around and landed several feet in a ditch. Maria parked the truck and took a deep breath and ran over to the ditch where the man had landed. He was still unconscious as Maria tried several times to wake him but there was no success. As she was trying to wake him she finally started to focus her eyes in the armored man and she realized that this was something she had never seen in her life. The man sat up and he began to talk in a strange language. “I don’t understand you,” Maria said, “I will get you some help. You just wait here.” Maria backed up and started to move toward the truck. Aiviak tuned in the communication device in the armor. It basically deciphers over 1,000 alien languages and ran them through some kind of filter so they could understand each other. Aiviak stood up and held out his hands in a plea. “I come in peace,” Aiviak said, “This has been a big mistake. Can you please hide me before somebody sees me?” “What are you?” asked Maria, “You look like a metal cat. You have big ears and a tail.’ “Cateria,” Aiviak said, “yes...I am from there. Can you hide me?” “I don’t know what you are,” Maria said, “Are you some kind of an outer space robot that is going to eat my brains?” “I have no interest in something like that,” Aiviak said, “But it would be great if I could find some food or water. I have not drank water in awhile and I am dehydrated. My suit’s hydroponic unit is messed up. The H20 in my system is broke, most likely happened when I broke through the atmosphere and all of the stuff burned up.” “You didn’t burn down my father’s barn did you?” asked Maria. “I don’t remember much,” Aiviak said, “I should be dead but here I am.” “Get in the truck quick,” Maria said with a change of heart. Aiviak climbed in the opposite side as Maria took off driving. He closed the door and Maria spun around and took a back road to her farm house. She actually stopped by the old Luct farm and snatched their copy of the Dailey Reader that was hanging out of their news paper box. On the front of the Dailey Reader was a story about a comet being spotted. Maria rolled up the paper and kept driving on the back roads. The armored warrior reached behind his mask and pushed a button that freed his face. It made a hissing noise as the compressed air came out. Maria got a look at Aiviak’s face and she slammed on her breaks and screamed. “I am sorry,” Aiviak said, “I did not know you have never seen an alien of my sort. I can put the mask back on if it makes your feel better.” “You look like a kitty, kitty,” Maria smiled, “why do you look like a cat?” “Because I am from another planet,” Aiviak, I have been around other aliens most of my life. Your planet seems isolated and cut off from the rest of the universe. I’ll make a deal with you human. If you help me out and get me to safety and I will show you the universe when things are and make you the first human...well, I am sure there are more you don’t know about but let’s just stick with the program and things will be ok.”

So a few days went by and Maria had stashed her new friend in a barn that was to the west of the property that used to store hay and feed for the animals that her father used to keep food for the farm animals but when the expenses got to be too much that is when thing started to change on the farm. Aiviak got out of the armor and took a swim in the pond out back and he dressed back in his normal clothes beneath the armor by the time Maria made it back to see him. She had several gallons of water she gathered up from a nearby spring with plenty of canned food. “Thank you my friend,” Aiviak said, “Somebody will have to find me soon. Our ships are designed to send out emergency signals. Hopefully I can get home and get back to where I left and find my family and get that son of a bitch that turned Cateria upside down.” “I am really sorry all this has happened to you but I don’t think you should stay too long out in these cold nights out here,” Maria said. “The warm hay is a blessing child,” Aiviak said, “Plus I have come across some of those things you said remind you of my race. The domestic cats and they seem to have taken kind to me at night. They are like some sort of miniature versions of tiny children with version of children who cannot speak but are very agile.” As the months went by the relationship between Maria and Aiviak became more then friends and when her father had a serious heart attack and was hospitalized Maria had to take on the chores of the farm. That is when Aiviak stepped in and began to help out the best he could. Maria contracted her father’s farm hands and they continued where her father left off. Maria visited her Dad a lot on the hospital and they told he had a bad heart and he had maybe a year left tops. Her Dad never believed anything the doctors said but stayed on in the hospital to see what else they could do as far as better diets and what not. He told his daughter, “Sometimes you know you can’t live forever and when you know it is your time you go when you hear the calling. If I should go tomorrow Maria just remember everything I own is yours as your mother’s was but I don’t plan to die too soon as long as these doctors don’t keep me in this crazy house any longer.” A month later, Mr. Jones was to be released sometime in the next week so Maria spent the whole day cleaning the house Aiviak had literally turned the Jones home upside down and cleaned the place almost like the days when he was just a young lad working with his mother as a house keeper. Maria could not believe all the things he did to the house when she came home. “How did you do all this stuff?” asked Maria, “The carpet, the floors and walls look like they are brand new. It almost feels polished and...” “You have to know what certain compounds work to remove an assortment of discolor of grime or the chemicals that make them look besmirched,” Aiviak smiled as the two embraced in a passionate kiss. “Well that was odd,” Maria smiled, “But I kind of liked it.” “I have come to realize that my kingdom was taken from me and my life here means I am here forever,” Aiviak said, “and I would not be happier with a beautiful Earth female as my new companion to fill the hole in my heart that those traitors stole from me.” “I never thought this could be possible,” Maria said. “I am king of Cateria,” Aiviak, “I always believe that anything can happen.” Then the two retired upstairs to her bedroom where the inevitable happened between the two as they made love which never could have been imagined to have happened between two species but as the old saying goes, love will conqueror all. The next day a knock came to the door of the house, Aiviak had to awake Maria. Then she went down stairs to see who it was. To her surprise it was a man at the door wearing a business suit and had on a pair

of sunglasses. Aiviak waiting at the top of the stairs for anything suspicious to happen as Maria opened the door to greet the young man. “Hello mam,” the young man said, “My name is Richie Chambers and I writer for the Dailey Reader. I was wondering if you had some time to talk about that comet thing that was in the paper awhile ago?” “I can talk for a little bit but not very long because my Uncle Carl is bringing my Daddy home from the hospital a little later and I need to get this house in preparation with a few things.” “That’s ok mam,” Richie said, “May I come in?” “Certainly,” Marie said as she invited the young reporter into the house. Aiviak was off in the distance listening. Something about this Richie Chambers he did not like but he kept quiet because he knew he was no longer king of anything and one slip and it was all over and who knows what would happen judging from the amount of stuff Aiviak had read that Maria brought home from the library. “Mam,” Richie said as he took out his notepad, “Do you think that comet everyone reported seeing awhile back is what hit your barn and started that whole entire blaze that burned that entire barn all the way down to nothing?” “Oh Gosh Mr. Chambers that was several months ago I had nearly forgotten about that,” Maria smelled, “I have been more concerned about my Daddy and his heart attack.” “I must do say mam this house has to be the cleanest farm house I have ever seen,” Richie said as he looked around, “it like something off of the Brady Bunch.” “Nothing a little elbow grease can’t hurt,” Maria smiled. “Well you know that your barn burned to the ground with nothing to be found,” Richie said, “But truthfully there was some small items found. Namely this little thing that ended up mailed to my office. It’s a small bag with an unidentifiable piece of metal in it. Now mam, I have had this tiny piece shipped out all over the world and they have never seen this kind of metal. Since shipping it out, I have been question by several Government Agencies and all though I cannot prove it came from your barn maybe you can help me to identify this?” “Mr. Chambers I haven’t the foggiest idea what that is,” Maria said, “It looks like a piece of metal that is broke from something. As far as coming from my barn, someone is messing with you.” “Are they?” asked Richie as he plopped down an envelope in front of her. Maria opened it up and was in shock to see it was photographs of her fixing up her nearby farm houses and outside of the house and in some of the pictures was a strange furry object with a tail. The camera was not clear but one shot was really clear. “That is me but what is that?” asked Maria. “Don’t play games with me Miss Jones,” Richie said as he raised his voice, “I think you had an alien crash in your barn and you have been keeping it here. Just tell me what it is and is the thing living here and maybe I can see it? This would be world breaking news. You have to realize I am just a starting reporter and I have a lot of Government guys that are riding my ass to produce something. You can kick start my career and...” “Get out of my fucking house!” Maria yelled at the top of her lungs. Richie got up with a shocked look on his face just as her Uncle Carl and her Dad came through the door. Richie persuaded a bit more but Maria had her Uncle Carl escort the young creepy reporter outside and he was never seen again after Carl roughed him up pretty good. “Well I’ll be two gay men with shit stains on their peckers,” Farmer Jones said, “Who the hell cleaned this house? Did your very own mother get up from the grave and come back here to clean while I was gone?” “No Daddy I just figured you would have liked to have your place cleaned up,” Maria said, “I have been kind of laying off you since Mama died and I figured I would surprise you.” “Child what am I gonna do with you?” asked Farmer Jones with a smile as he hugged his daughter. “You need to sit down Daddy,” Maria said, “Remember the doctor’s orders. All of your

farm hands have been taking care of the place. I have been running the farm with help from my friend...um...Aden and he um...well kept thing going good.” “I’d like to meet this Aden fella,” Farmer Jones said, “awfully nice to take care of my daughter and fix up my place and keep things running. I need to meet the man.” “You can’t because he does not like to been seen by a lot of people,” Maria thought at the last minute. “What the hell kind of bullshit is that?” asked Farmer Jones. “He was in some war,” Maria came up with a story, “He is burned from head to toe. He wears robes and bandages because he can appear to be pretty scary and with your heart I didn’t want to introduce you to a friend of mine who looks like that.” “Awe hell,” Farmer Jones said, “burned up or wearing robes you tell that nice gentleman I want to meet him. You can invite him over tonight and cook up something really special. It would be an honor to meet a person that does nice things for strangers especially what he did to this living room which I know you had no process in doing. I’ve known you too long Maria, this is not your work.” “Oh daddy you are such an old shrew,” Maria laughed.

Hours later, Maria talked Aiviak into doing the most ridiculous and humiliating thing of his life. She got some bandages from her friend at the hospital. Along with a gown and a robe, a surgical mask and a pair of sunglasses and dressed Aiviak up as if he was a burn victim so she could present Aiviak to her father so he could thank Aiviak for all of his work done while he was gone. Aiviak said it would never work after Maria tapped his tail down the side of his leg which was very uncomfortable. Maria had made a big dinner and when Aiviak showed up all decked out in the costume she let him in and introduced him to Farmer Jones. Even though Farmer Jones thought his name was Aden, Maria kept finishing in the kitchen because she knew that Aiviak had the whole thing covered. “Well I am finally meeting the guy who took care of my lace when I was down and out,” Farmer Jones smiled, “Sad thing what you got going on there boy. You ever going to get something done to fix your appearance or do you want to dress up like that the rest of your life?” “Well, as odd as that question is I guess I am happy just being who I am,” Aiviak replied, “Yes, I am wounded but I get less stares dressed up like this then I do with the French fried skin that looks so bad I resemble an alien from the planet Mars.” “Dammit you went over to that god damn Vietnam and you come home and you are treated like this shit?” asked Farmer Jones in anger, “It’s happening all over. Everyone is coming home wounded. Some with no legs and they just piling on the insults like you guys are some kind of baby butchers.” “Yes sir,” Aiviak said, “I agree.” So dinner went fine with the exception that Aiviak had to eat everything through a straw but he was actually kind of surprised that Farmer Jones didn’t notice one thing. After dinner he hugged his daughter, shook Aiviak’s hand and excused himself and went upstairs to bed. “Thank you for the food Maria,” Aiviak said, “It was nice to meet your Dad. All though I would have enjoyed showing him what I really looked like and shaking his hand with my real hand instead of this bandaged hand.” “If my father’s heart was a tad stronger we could have properly introduced you” Maria said, “But he got to meet you and tomorrow he’ll forget you but he’ll remember you by that nice and polite boy named Aiden.’ “I am getting home sick Maria,” Aiviak said, “I am starting to realize that I may be trapped here on Earth. If that is the case then it won’t be long before stranger people come knocking on your door. There are already young boys from your papers that have found their way here Maria. I need to free myself of your burden and move on and at least tries to find my way home wherever that may be.” “Just hand in there a little long Aiviak,” Maria said, “somewhere people know you and those people will never forget the dream of you being out there. If you were as loved and praised as you said you were then it won’t be long.”

A month later, Maria’s father died in his sleep of a massive heart attack. Aiviak had a hard time being by her side but he didn’t want to make her feel like she was alone. Family came from everywhere to say goodbye to Leeman Edward Jones, one of the brightest and great farmers of the north New Mexico area. Always a kind hearted sold who would have given the shirt off his back many would say at his funeral. Then of course another major turning point would take place about five months after Farmer Jones’s death. It was during one of those days where the weather was kind of dark and gloomy and most of the chores were done for the day. Maria had decided that she was going to sell the farm and move on with her life and continue with her education. As much as she loved her father there was no real reason for her to continue the family’s business in an area that was running low on requests from farmer resources. “When I compared the original products from your neighbor’s dairy farm as to the stuff you received from that store,” Aiviak was talking to Maria in a simple conversation about bio-terrorism which destroyed his world. It makes me think of the Mutex or the various poisons that were put into things that needed something to keep the product from being snatched and altered from the middle man.” “Please explain Aiviak because you are losing me,” Maria replied. “I believe your products that are taken from the farm and resold to the population are being altered to so want,” Aiviak said, “the milk is poisoned with strange flavors and scents that my nose can tell the difference and we have to let people know about all of this.” “As much as I would love to jump on this bandwagon and attack these companies,” Maria said, “I already know this and I am pretty sure the government knows about this junk also. Not to change the subject but I am carrying a baby.’ “Oh my goodness,” Aiviak, “Can that be possible?” “Of course it can stupid,” Maria laughed, “you are the only man I have been with or should I say Caterian. Oh my god, I just thought about it and our baby is going to be...” All of a sudden the house began to shake violently like somebody was outside and rocking their house with a giant pair of hands. It was an old farmer house and Aiviak and Maria hit the ground as things started to fall off the walls and cabinets. Finally the racket stopped and Aiviak peaked his head up and an amplified voice began to speak through what sounded like a megaphone. “Maria Ann Jones,” please come outside with your hands in the air. Also the humanoid life form you are harboring could you do the same? You have exactly three minutes before we all come in and forcefully remove you from the house.” “What the hell is going on?” asked Maria in fear to Aiviak. “Your people know,” Aiviak said, “It didn’t take long. Maybe they can get me home and...” “Don’t be crazy Aiviak,” Maria said, “They will lock you up and dissect you. You have to run for your life Aiviak. Take the back door and run and never look back.” “It would be a cold day in hell Maria,” Aiviak said, ‘you have my unborn child!” As Maria slowly came out with her hands up, two armed Army soldiers they looked like snatched her and clamped her arms behind her back and escorted her to an armored terrain vehicle that was waiting for her off to the side. “I am Corporal Agent Thomas Watson of the United States Army,” one of the main soldiers spoke, “We understand that you have been harboring an illegal alien in your home for quite some time. What are your replies to these allegations?” “This is a free country,” Maria said, “Let me go.” “Yes it is a free country Miss Jones,” Agent Watson said, “but you gave up your American freedoms the day you allowed an illegal alien into your home. You have any

idea the diseases and toxins that could be spread to the population of this country? You are a security breech and you will be quarantined and locked up while...” Not having any free hands, Maria spit in Agent Watson’s face. With a quick reflex Watson slapped her across the face. Naturally leaping out from the top floor of the farm house Aiviak leaped down and onto Watson’s back with his claws out. Digging his claws into him painfully and biting him on the neck. “Ahhh!” Watson screamed, “Get it off me!” “Let her go!” Aiviak said as he threw Watson in the crowd of his agents, “you hit an innocent pregnant woman. You are a monster not me!” “Kill that fucking thing!” Agent Watson ordered as everyone fired guns at Aiviak. Aiviak was too quick and he leaped up the side of the old farm house, climbed the triangular roof trust and leaped over and the other side as about twenty some soldiers chased him into the woods. “Are you ok Corporal Watson?” asked one of the soldiers. “I’ll be fine!” Watson said, “Get about thirty troops up in those woods. Get a parameter around that area. We’ll hunt whatever the hell that thing is out of there. Like smoking a bunch of bees out of a honey comb!” “Yes sir! Yes sir!” One of the next in command soldiers responded as he began pointing to all the various Army soldiers and telling them where to go. “Please! Aiviak is not a criminal! He was only looking out for me!” Maria said, “You sending all your army guys in the woods is not necessary. I will get him to come back if you just call off your men.” “We have already run through these roads Miss Jones,” Watson said, “Whatever your Catman is he is going to be thrown in a cage, gutted and dissected like a lab rat so we can learn what the hell it is doing here and how many parasites!” “He is just an innocent and lost person,” Mary cried. “Those are crocodile tears!” Watson said, “Private Harrington take this bitch and shove her in the back and close the damn door. I have come too far to let another alien slip through my fingers because he befriended a dumb human. This shit gets old we’ll bag and tag this hairy cat thing and bring it down. Just let’s not make this into another Wisconsin problem. We have the gear to detain this alien not obliterate their guts all over the forest. Let’s do this right and make the boys back at the base happy. We are the best at what we do and I believe you know that also Private Harrington.” “Yes I do Corporal,” Private Harrington said, “I can’t wait to see this thing. Doe he meow or purr like a pussy Miss Jones?” “Fuck off,” Maria screamed as Private Harrington slammed the back door of the terrain truck where she was thrown into the back with her hands still cuffed behind her back.

Weeks went by and soon they went to months and then months went to years and Maria and her son “Bill” were captive in a special hanger that housed aliens and parts of alien relics. It turned out that the United States had a secret Government organization that specialized in capturing aliens or what the case may be. A secret Government organization called STEEL that was designed to keep the public from ever finding out about alien life form other planets. The alien life forms found out that they were more than just guests. They had become subjects of study and dissection to find out how they tick and if they pose any type of threat to the human race. Maria kept trying to get STEEL to release her after her baby first appeared to be normal but when the child began to grow and the access of body hair appeared along with his green cat-like eyes the medical wing of STEEL took the child from Maria. They promised they just wanted to study him briefly and giving a blessing that her child would be ok.

Maria spent many nights being interrogated by Government agents and official members of STEEL wanting to know what she knew. Some of the questions were the same one over and over but Maria stuck to her guns about her knowledge about what she knew and told them nothing. One day, Maria had been living there for quite some time and three soldiers came into her room. They grabbed her and tied her up and put a bag over her head. While she was kicking and screaming she found herself being hit over the head and she blacked out. When she came to she was in a hospital somewhere in Chicago, Illinois. She began telling doctors that she was held hostage by these Government guys called STEEL but they all looked at her like she was out of her mind and she was prescribed some type of drug to calm her down. After awhile Maria was released from the hospital and sent to a psyche ward and she soon realized from the doctors there that maybe she shouldn’t talk about things and maybe some of the things she had said may have or could have been a manifestation of her mind. From there she was prescribed psyche drugs and sent to live in a half-way house for mental patients to help her get ill. She spent most of her time cleaning and talking to other patience that were schizophrenic and after awhile Maria just decided she needed to go along with it if she ever wanted to get away from all of this madness. As the months passed, Maria actually started to doubt she had son named Bill or ever met an alien named Aiviak or ever heard of a place called Cateria. Even though in her head she could see Aiviak’s face as clear as day. She was told that he never existed and she may have been imagining most of it to cover up for the loss of her farm and father but Maria knew it wasn’t true. About a year later, Maria had returned to her farm house where her cousin had been taking care of the property. She told her cousin (Joe) that he could stay. She just wanted her old room back and the two seemed to hit it off. One day she was sleeping and a bright light flickered outside of her window. Maria got up and went to the window and she could see something was outside but it was too bright to see what it was. So she loosened her window and opened it up and it was Aiviak and he was wearing a new armor with bright lights on the belt and boots. She learned that Aiviak was located by a few of his rebel soldiers that found the worm hole he fell through and they came to Earth and located him by hunting down the signal in his armor. Aiviak had returned to Cateria to take back what was his. The rebellion had already begun fighting and there was already a cure for Mutex. Sadly, Aiviak learned his wife was slaughtered as an example of Jurguban who believed Aiviak had fled like a coward. Though the Caterian army was able to defeat the majority of Jurguban’s forces they were never able to find Jurguban. Aiviak asked Maria if she would come back to Cateria and rule as his queen. Maria had no idea what to say but she jumped at the chance. She told Aiviak about their son Bill and how some secret Government called STEEL had their child. Aiviak vowed to return with a vengeance but for now he was needed on Cateria and after that Maria was considered a “missing person” as she literally left Earth to goto another planet. Now Bill was exactly nineteen years of age now and STEEL had been hiding him as a dirty secret. Though the hands of STEEL were finally exchanging hands and becoming less of a threat toward aliens it still had Bill as a prisoner and the military was training him to become a killing machine. Commander Richard “Dick” Chambers was in the war room talking to one of his scientist about Bill and his “conditioning”. Bill was no longer the frail little baby that Maria had given birth to. He was now very athletic and due to his alien heritage he was a very hairy creature that was administered a drug so that he would not “shag out” like his alien Caterians. Scared of his alien heritage, STEEL had forced Bill to undergo a few operations to alter his face so it would not take on the appearance of a strange cat-like creature. The process was an experimental one but it would help Bill when he was released into the real world and didn’t look like a monster.

“Sir his training records are off the scales,” Dr. Howard one of STEEL’s best scientists spoke to Commander Chambers, “He tops out at all of the athletic levels and out does our best men in strength. His finger nails retract and can be unleashed like a weapon. It has the properties of a strong metal but it is more on a biological scale. If these Caterians are all like this they could be dangerous killers if they found their way to Earth.” “With the certain safety protocols we have installed in Bill he will not ever turn on us,” Commander Chambers said, “When we unleash him soon on some test subjects I would like to see a killer. A man who isn’t afraid to face death and can take a few bullets, so is that what you have for me?” “Trust me Commander,” Dr. Howard said, “your weapon will not turn on you. You are safe and he is nothing but clay in your hands.” That’s what Chambers thought for many years until Bill finally snapped after being prodding around by Chamber’s electric device that sent shockwaves through his body at the command of the device Chamber’s used to control him. Eventually as a punishment, Chambers ordered a special room to contain Bill when he went off the grid and became crazy but in truth it was Bill’s way of finally trying to get out. Bill was not stupid and in fact his was pretty smart and kept education by Dr. Howard who often visited Bill. Today Bill was chained to his stone cavern cell wall. Dr. Howard always took pity on Bill for his mistreatment and this day Dr. Howard came for a conversation with the young lad who seemed pretty upset for being sent into a combat scenario against various insurgent types. “You know doctor with all the shots you give me,” Bill laughed as he was chained to the wall, “and the various expirments done to me. I remember every poke, every prod and just about every insulting shock I have felt through my entire body. I also know who holds the contract over your head and makes you do the things you do. I also remember how I got here and if those orders one day are to lobotomize me they had better hope they have enough men to contain me.” “As my service to STEEL I pray one day it will be done and I can move along into a more easy practice,” Dr. Howard said, “I have made sure that you were kept right and even though Chambers holds the button that makes you decide what to do I am sure you will find your way past that someday.” “I have been in here most of my life,” Bill said, “If it wasn’t for you I would have never seen the outside world. My anger that is buried deep down inside me is a very bitter anger that I pray one day it does not get unleashed. I hold nothing against nobody with the exception of Mr. Dick Chambers. Though he pretends to be a nice guy and is changing the way STEEL was created I know what he really feels and what he wants to do. Someday he will slip up and he will no longer hold my little cute shock collar.” “Yes Mr. Bill I do agree that you have been mistreated and if I could do anything to help you in any way I would,” Dr. Howard said, “but like I said, this is my job and my hands are tied.” “I want to find my mother and see if she is still alive,” Bill said, “I know what I am and I know that most men don’t have tails and grow fur. So tell me Doc, where is that annoying little device in my body that keeps sending those shockwaves through my body?” “It’s directly underneath your right rib cage,” Dr. Howard said, “But you will never get it out without a surgical team with sharp enough tools.”

“You mean like this?” asked Bill as he forced his right hand open and his bladed fingernails began to eject one, two, three, four five. From there, Bill reached up with all of his strength and began pulling with all of his might against the metal plates that were embedded into the stone. Dr. Howard could see the right one was very weak but instead of running, Dr. Howard just stood there and watched. Clang! The one metal plate came out of the wall, giving Bill some room army where he began to cut the chains off of his hands and arms. He basically cut the blades of and slashed the brown leather waste belt off that had the chain protruding out the back. “I have wanted to do that for a long time,” Bill smiled. “You don’t have long they will be here,” Dr. Howard said. “I cannot leave without doing this,” Bill said as he dug his claws under the right part of his ribs. He was able to move his hand around until he found the device. He pulled it out and threw it across the room and smashed it on the stone walls. Blood was all over his arms, above his stomach and the dig for the electric shock controller nearly made Bill pass out from the pain. “This should help for the pain,” Dr. Howard said as he was about to inject Bill with something. “I am trusting this is something that isn’t going to knock me out and when I awake I will be strapped up in these chains?” asked Bill. “No you will not,” Dr. Howard said as he injected Bill with a shot, “I am going to go about my business. If you have a way out of here God bless you. Just remember if you kill anybody they are just people like you and I. Some with families and loved ones, be smart and do not try anything that is crazy. You may be stronger than the average man but you are not immortal.” “Th-thank you,” Bill said as he staggered across the room and balanced himself against the wall, “I need a few minutes. Unfortunately it requires me to rest a bit. Can you hold off some people for about ten minutes?’ “Maybe,” Dr. Howard said as he left the room. About a year had gone by since Bill had snuck away from the STEEL base and Bill had hooked up with several “Masked heroes” on the streets of New York and Bradford City. Bill met a few contacts through his travels and he was able to paste together a simple costume to hide his identity. (What identity?) A simple mask that covered his estranged face and body with cat ears to resemble the Caterian half that he was. Bill had a clue what a Caterian was from all the stories his mother told him. Bill figured he needed to get away from, the STEEL base and find out just what he was and somehow learn about his Caterian roots despite being on planet Earth. Of course over the years, Bill who had simply been referred to as the “Human-Cat” meaning he was part human and the other half was Caterian. The name the Human-Caterian was a bit long and song “Human Cat” stuck with the super hero who had teamed up with many great heroes of that era to battle crime and take down bad guys. Keeping his face hid was always Bill’s way to avoid STEEL until recently he found out that STEEL had went through some major changes and all of the “alien hunters” had been removed from their positions at STEEL and a lot of Government agents has crossed over to become secret Government agents that began to work along the side of some of these new super heroes called the “Crusaders” in which Human Cat was a part of. The Crusaders were originally apart of the crew of heroes that broke him out of the original STEEL and when Bill had seen the brave men and women in mask and costumes with powers it was his first sight of a woman named Julie Maret (Electrawoman) that took his eyes and helped him to invent a costume that would stand for something. The first two Human Cat costumes made a statement and stood as a representation of who he was for quite awhile. Human Cat later learned that the name “Human Cat” actually belonged to a masked man from the early years from 1942-1968 who was a B-class hero who fought crime for many years. Bill had

never met the man who he took the name from and actually thought he may have done it subconsciously. He later paid his respects to the late Herman Danvers (the original Human Cat) by visiting his grave and honoring him for a small mission where his costume was shredded after a fight with a bunch of super villains and the only costume that was around was a duplicate attire of Herman Danvers’s Human Cat uniform. Though the years have passed for “Human Cat” and he has been off and on with the Crusaders his last leave of absence has been a little longer than normal. Even to the point where it was rumored that he was killed but of course it takes a lot to kill the Human Cat.

Keep your eyes peeled for Crusaders #12 (354) as Human Cat slowly returns the team. As we know that there is nothing left of Cateria since the war that was brought on that caused all of the Mutex-like deaths that wiped out the population.
