Bradford City Memorial Hospital is one of the largest hospitals on the Eastern coast of the United States. They have an excellent staff along with one of the greatest helicopter landing roof tops pads that keep the hospital quite busy when extreme danger happens to somebody and the traffic is too thick and at the last minute the helicopter service seems to be the only way to get to the hospital to save somebody’s life.

Bradford City Memorial Hospital The colossal three winged hospital with seven floors is said to have been the busiest place from this side of Manhattan New York. The Doctors that work there are fast thinking and quite brilliant including the surgeons who have been known for their miraculous and steady hands and high percentage rates through surgeries. The time, commitment and manual labor hours put into this hospital was enormously a great experience to see how fast it was put up. The bulk of the donation money came from a rich billionaire industrialist named Benson Clark. He wanted to make a hospital that could take care of everybody and nobody would ever have to wait for services. Though often dubbed, “Benson Clark Memorial Hospital” as a tribute to the man who designed the building with all of his technological advancements he had made by using many of his ideas in the blue print to allow the hospital to move with an almost space age feel to it. Now today, Benson Clark age 40 is way up on the top floor and he is in a coma. It happened awhile back and from what people know it was some kind of industrial accident while he was at work at his company “Clark Enterprises” which was across the enormous city of Bradford. Benson Clark’s partner and now acting C.E.O. Lloyd Ellington enters Benson’s hospital room. Lloyd just can’t believe all of the tubes and machines that are sticking out of Benson. He wanted Benson to sit up and take his job back so that Lloyd could go back to being less busy but this had to be done. Naturally Clark Enterprises should have gone to the hands of Benson’s son whose name was Benson Clark Junior. In the acting will, Benson stated that he knew his son had a mental disorder due to the previous encounters with his son who was like madman and had been admitted to an insane asylum for attempting to kill many people before he was apprehended and locked away for treatment. Benson Clark always felt ashamed that the only one next of kin was a certifiable loony. It was later revealed that Benson Clark Junior had partaken in the use of powerful hallucinogenic drugs in college that literally cooked his brain. The reason for using the drugs may have just been an association thing but anyway it was gamble all his friends took. Benson Clark Junior often referred as “Benny” was a nice kid and he made his father proud. “Benny” growing up under the wings and shadows of thee Benson Clark and his Grandfather Simon Clark was almost impossible. Simon Clark a brilliant man of his time later broke the mold so that his genius son Benson could created one of the greatest manufacturing power, computers and electronics business, on this side of the globe. “Benny” would try so hard to please his father after his Grandfather had to be admitted to a nursing home after he began to slip up and was lost to dementia. Benny later found out he was smart but he was no “Benson Clark” when he failed to be his father, he lost the respect of his mother, sister and many other close family members. Benny began spending his “allowance” like wild fire and making a name for himself on the Bradford City night life scene. He later became friends with a man named Mitchell Johnson who was connected to the mob and they sucked Benny into their family hoping to get the whole Clark family in with them but that did not happen. When Benny had a major episode where he wound up taking some of his father’s staff hostage and demanded his father pay attention to him back fired. Benny was whacked out on booze and cocaine. He was literally a mad man by the time the security at Clark Enterprises took him down. Benny was sent to jail and later sent to a psyche ward after a jail psychiatrist recognized that Benny was experiencing major symptoms of someone who had been abusing hallucinogenic drugs for a long period of time which had began to deteriorate his mind. From that day forth, Benny has been in and out of the psyche ward and to

this day he is free but he was in no condition to run Clark Enterprises and so Benson’s best friend and partner the former Police Commissioner of Bradford City Lloyd Ellington now had full control of Clark Enterprises in his hand once again while Benson was in a serious coma that many feel he will never wake up from. Benson Clark always believed that if you are in a coma you can be brought out and he had a system all figured out in his notes that he got from an intelligent scientist named Doctor Samuel Harris who was in a coma as a teenager after a really bad car accident. Before he was Doctor Samuel Harris, he was simply known as “Sammy” the hot headed kid who loved to race hot rods and had the I.Q. of an average eighteen year old kid who had wealthy parents and didn’t give two shits about life. When he was rendered in a coma and anyone with the right mind would have pulled the plug on Sammy but it was fortunate that his father was friends with a doctor named Fredrick Parsons. The same doctor that had been working and studying Benson Clark for the past month or so. Back then, Fredrick Parsons had developed an experimental type of work that he claimed could awake people from comas by using various types of radiation. What Fredrick Parsons didn’t mention was the radiation was a form of cosmic energy he had siphoned from an alien artifact that was given to him years ago by an unknown source (the source of course was later to be revealed as a being called Lysu...we’ll get to that.) The radiation awoke young Sammy but the side effects appeared to be shocking to his parents. Young Sammy lost all of his hair on his head and it never grew back. For almost five months Sammy was almost in a very “slow” state and it seemed like his motor functions were never coming back but of course that later changed.

Sammy Harris With the use of a wheel chair being pushed around by his Dad it looked like Dr. Fredrick Parsons may have brought young Sammy back but in the process cooked his brain. Sammy’s parents were about to sue the doctor but learned that they did sign the contract that save Dr. Fredrick Parsons’s butt. Of course things began to change about three years later, “Sammy’s” wheel chair began to move without any one pushing it. Also objects around Sammy began to move and were brought to him. His parents later discovered that Sammy had developed telekinesis and was moving things with his brain. This telekinesis helped Sammy to get off his butt and he strengthened his legs with the aid of the telekinesis. Eventually the young lad was now walking and talking again. With the faint scar around his bald head, Sammy was now starting to appear normal again. Except this time, Sammy could not get enough information. Back then he was all about hot rods, cars and anything that moved a fast speeds. Now Sammy (or Samuel or Sam as he wished to be addressed) was shoving his head with any type of book about science. He was good at math before surprisingly but now he was able to take the math he knew and goto the library and advance his studies. All of it came easy and he spent a month in the Bradford City Public Library reading science books along with anything that was fascinating with any type of science or math. Finishing school he won a scholarship to an expensive college where he went on to become one of the most brilliant Scientist in the world. At the age of twenty-five, Dr. Samuel Harris was nicknamed “The Brain” and he began on a worldwide tour in his endless creation of inventions and developing cures to some of the most incurable illnesses. “The Brain” also had developed more mental abilities such as mind control, telepathy and a wide variety of abilities he never shared with the public. After college he spent a great deal working in labs and taking on a position working for Clark Enterprises where he met young Benson Clark who was a green horn fresh out of college. “The Brain” later learned that the scientist who brought him out of the coma was murdered after reading a shocking headline. Looking into the murder, the Brain discovered that Dr. Fredrick Parsons had deflected from Russia and was living in the United States under an assumed name.

Dr. Fredrick’s assistant Dr. Joel West had given all of his private work that was copied down into a book that later found its way into the hands of his son Andrew West (Of course later to be known as Electroman...long story but we’ll get to that.) So Dr. West and the Brain studied the notes and learned that Dr. Fredrick Parsons had developed a powerful energy source that was transformed from cosmic rays and a series of other energy sources. Later known as the “Beta Ray” this energy source was an amazing self-replicating power that replenished itself after a few minutes of being dormant. We would also learned later that Benson Clark who later developed a powerful suit of armor he was working on for the military. He incorporated the “Beta Rays” into his armor formats and learned that with those combinations there was something new and undiscovered just waiting to be found. Of course this would be the first prototype an early version of the super armor that was worn by Benson Clark so that he could be secretly known as the Metalloid but that’s another story. Through the years as we know, Metalloid’s armor had been through some major changes. Even being estranged from each other for quite some time, the Brain and Benson Clark (as Metalloid) would later meet up to be a part of the ever shifting lineup of earthbound guardians known as the Crusaders. The Brain never wanted to be a super hero in all honesty. His whole part in the big roll was a total mistake. The Brain was already well-known and he later found himself in the middle of a battle against some really horrific bad people with super human powers that were dubbed “super villains” So later when he teamed up with Cosmicman, Electroman, Captain Wonder, White Tornado and Electra Woman and even a rumor about a GOD claiming to be Thor. This Thor rumor was circulating for some time and him being a member of the Crusaders made religious humans wanting to know more about this so called GOD. What it all really was and for the first time it was destiny that the world now had protectors. These protectors would later be known as the Crusaders and for the next two decades they would start out as mysterious men and women in costumes who later joined up with the Government who paired them off with another secret management team of normal men and women who were military heroes and now called STEEL. STEEL was a reformed super hero team that in the beginning was created to hunt down aliens (not foreign country aliens but aliens from other planets). In the early days it appeared their priorities along with a combination of some bad apples of original members. Later the bad apples and their new agenda to rid the world of alien races especially half humans had turned them into really bad individuals who became abusive with their power. After years of secretive struggles within their foundation. STEEL afterward became the secret heroes that the world needed and the Crusaders would later be their partners who had no problem showing off their glorious colorful suits and expressing themselves to any type of law breaker or evil doer. Maybe for a little while during those years some people felt really safe while others were really mistrustful about super humans, aliens and mutants wearing vibrant costumes and playing super hero.

One of the Science Labs inside Clark Enterprises Now in modern times, Dr. Harris otherwise simply known as the Brain is working inside a high tech laboratory with just about anything he can dream up at his side. He kept looking under an advanced microscope and jotting data down.

Within a few feet away was the Brain’s assistant and good friend Xenon. Xenon was a futuristic robot that wound up coming back from the distant future after a starship he was aboard was accidentally flown through a black hole that turned out to be a worm hole. Xenon’s duties on the ship, he was programmed to be a medical doctor. Well, being the only survivor Xenon took control of the ship where he later met up with several Crusaders such as Captain Wonder. The Brain later found away to break into Xenon’s programming and took off the computer Governors that only allowed him to be a full functioning medical android. The Brain freed Xenon from the source which the android began to finally grow as he learned where he is in his current state. After a strange encounter with a sorceress awhile back, Xenon was able to gain the ability to feel emotions which helped him to become his own character. All though he mainly works on science projects with the Brain it has been proven that Xenon now has fully functioning feelings and emotions and even had a relationship with a human female.

“I am still not sure Beta Rays should be used in science expirments,” Xenon spoke up, “Even though all of those years ago you have learned that they were the cause of your mutation. I think we are literally rolling dice with a fifty-fifty outcome.”

“I hold your opinion in high regard old friend,” the Brain said, “all though we all would like to take the short cut and bring Mr. Clark out of his coma I do believe you are right. We could cut open Mr. Clark’s skull and inject his brain with the radioactive combination of the Beta Rays. The only reason I think I didn’t die was because I think I may have already had the mutant gene in my body. The mutant gene is something that children have from the time they are born. Some do not manifest themselves at all and I think I was one of those people. I think when my body was introduced to the Beta Rays my mutant gene activated itself maybe as a defense mechanism and altered my human brain into what it is today. I think if we did the same process on Mr. Clark it would kill him. Thus, I think after my research combined with your input there is no way Mr. Clark would be able to live.” “Who is to say that Mr. Clark will not wake up from the coma?” Asked Xenon. “I will go talk to Lloyd,” the Brain said, “Lloyd really wanted to retire from his duty with law enforcement. He and Benson Clark are really close, if it wasn’t for Benson Clark, Lloyd would be dead with a bullet in his head. Benson Clark reached in and with his technology repaired Lloyd’s human brain and removed a bullet that was shot into his head. It was a delicate procedure and I think Lloyd wants to repay that somehow with the Beta Ray operation. I ask if you could remain silent about the subject and let me think of something so that I could tell Lloyd.” “Of course I will Dr. Harris,” Xenon said, “If you do not mind, I am going to clean up and return home. My work in this lab is done for the day. Unless Mr. Ellington needs me for anything else I think I am going to try and watch that DVD set of the Six Million Dollar man that Sheila bought me.” “Say what?” asked the Brain. “Well she has been catching my curiosity with television and movies,” Xenon smiled, “I read a book the other day called Cyborg. The book was sitting out in our library area at the mansion. Sheila told me that they had made a television series in the late seventies early eighties based on the book called the Six Million Dollar Man with an actor named Lee Majors. My recent fascination with film and these wonderful things called storylines has peaked my interest. I guess Sheila was going to surprise me with the DVD set until the last minute Crusader’s events that took place which rendered me busy for a bit. Now I can actually return to one of the living rooms with the big screens and enjoy the classics.”

“Oh Xenon,” the Brain laughed, “That is not a classic. Sometime you and I will get together and I will show you what a classic is. I am into some of the older stuff and that is what is labeled as a classic. You ever heard of the movie Gone with the Wind? Or perchance Titanic?” “Yes,” Xenon said, “I happened to catch the movie Titanic. It was in Dragon Master’s DVD collection and he was telling me it was based on something that actually took place. All though I could not find records about the lead characters after the movie was over. I often wonder if Dragon Master may have been trying to pull one on me about the characters actually being real.” “Um,” the Brain paused, “The Titanic event did take place but they invented some characters to make the story more interesting. You will find a lot of movies based on true stories like that. Try and do a Google search for movies based on real events. You will see sometimes the storylines are normally changed around to make the event appear more interesting.” “Actually I did not find the loss of all those human lives interesting at all,” Xenon said, “I wish I would have been there. Did they not have a team of super heroes around to locate them and rescue them from the icy cold water death?” “Xenon you are living in the age where super heroes are actually welcomed to be in the world,” the Brain laughed, “I will explain later, right now I have to find Lloyd Ellington. You and I will talk later after supper.” “Very well,” Xenon said as he began to clean up the small mess he created in the lab. Jason Nortis who is an off duty Police Officer likes to deposit his check in the American Credit Union bank right on the day after he is paid. Jason usually gets paid every Thursday and so Friday around noon he strolls into the American Credit Union with his check. Why Jason just doesn’t have it automatically put into his checking is just a personal thing. Some habits are hard to break and Jason loves his early morning strolls to the American Credit Union. Inside the bank has about two tellers and a large vault behind them. The bank is designed for quick drive ups and the fast access to the ATM in the third lane. The windows that surround the bank are black tinted and reflect the sunlight. The cold weather is still present along with the large snow mounds that have been pushed aside by the big snow plows as a politeness to clientele who want to get in and get out from beginning to end the paths that have been uncovered for them. Walking inside Jason spots the lone Bank Security guy sitting at his desk by the door. He has halfway asleep. He knows Jason from back at the Academy. At one time the Bank Security guy was trying to be a cop and he failed because he had no ambition. Jason is once again reminded why this guy didn’t make it through the Police Academy as he passes through and up to the counter where a heavy set female bank teller takes his check and continues with the routine questions of the weather. “I want have in my account and the other half in cash,” Jason said as he looks around and then focuses his eyes back on the teller as Jason slides his I.D. over to the guy just in case that was the reason the teller was moving slow. “Thank you Mister Nortis,” The Bank Teller replied as he turned to open a drawer and started counting the cash back for Jason. What a lot of people don’t know about Jason Nortis besides he is a part of the Bradford City Police Department. He is also the son of the legendary superhero named the Huntsman. The Huntsman was a great archer that originally came from the distant past and was transported to the present time by a powerful and famous Sorcerer named Merlin. The reason for Huntsman’s transportation has never really been said all he was told was he was needed and he went from wearing his chainmail armor and sword to carrying a magical bow and arrow that for some reason kept him young and allowed him to remain in his thirties from 1945 all the way until 2013 when Merlin came back to take Huntsman back to his time claiming his need was no longer needed. It was odd that Merlin had done this because Huntsman had been living so long in this time period that he was able to marry and later have a son (Jason) and as Jason grew up, he learned to become a marksman shot with the bow like his father.

Jason actually tried to replace his father’s identity as Huntsman but it did not work out and so he decided he would be better off just being a Police Officer for Bradford City. New York. As fate would have it later on, Jason while on duty stumbled into a battle with a bunch of super heroes and he found the dying hero known as the Golden Beetle. Under the mask was the city wide famous Criminal attorney named Peter Falkin. Jason tried to help him but his wounds were too vital. Then at Jason’s surprise he found out that the golden suit that he was wearing transferred itself onto his own body. It wrapped around him like some sort of second skin. Jason tried to get the thing off but discovered that the suit was some kind of synthetic armor that belonged to a bunch of aliens that called themselves the “Gold Bugs”. These “Gold Bugs” were all over the universe it turned out. They have been developing synthetic armor that adapted to living bodies. It later turned out to be a bunch of special gear designed by a group of humanoid aliens that fought battles throughout the universe and Jason Nortis had just been unwillingly accepted as the replacement for the last guy to wear the armor. So within the last three years, Jason Nortis unwillingly molded into the new Golden Beetle and had trained side by side with the other aliens. He found his way back to Earth after proving himself as a worthy adversary and told he needed more experience. Jason accepted his fate as the new Golden Beetle and never told a soul that Peter Falklin was the original Golden Beetle. It went down in history that Peter Falkin was caught in the crossfire and that is why he died. The synthetic suit is quite amazing; when Jason concentrates it literally comes out of his body and wraps itself around him like a second skin or hide. It responds to his thoughts and gives him the access to a set of bug wings that gives him flight along with a second sense when something dangerous is about to happen. There is also a small amount of telepathy that Jason can do with the latest upgrade of armor that he has been upgraded to recently and seems to have a tighter fit to his body rather than the last four versions that add way too much unnecessary bulk that weighed him down. The only need for bulk is when he activates a type of armor that wraps around his body like a cocoon to protect him from something drastic like a large explosion or an attack by something powerful. Just as Jason was about to grab his cash he had a funny feeling. Since he was not wearing his costume he could not zero in on exactly what that funny feeling was. He stopped for a second when all of a sudden the silence was broken by a black man wearing a ski mask holding a small sub machine gun. “All right bitches get your cocks, tittys and pussies face down on the floor you know the drill you do what we say or you are dead!” a man with gun said as he came in through the door holding his automatic up in the air. He turned to look at the lazy Security cop and he automatically hit the floor as the bank robber thug took his small pistol away from him. Jason backed up and laid down on the floor by the side of a desk so you could still see his head but it was the perfect angle to slip the costume over his body while he was waiting. Nobody could see Jason lying down and the cameras were facing toward the bank tellers. If you looked closely at Jason’s hand there was what looked like a gold liquid looking material that began to wrap around his hands and work its way down his body as the liquid looking substance bonded into an extra layer of outer skin. Jason looked over to the door and he noticed another guy that was there and he was wearing a mask also. It was like he was watching out, holding the door and keeping everything in a perspective. Jason kept his head down as the main Bank Robber was getting ruder and more fowl to the tellers. “I want that mother fucking safe opened!” the robber shouted, “Open it bitch!” “The manager is the only one with the pass code,” the woman behind the counter said, “He is not here right now but he’ll be here later if you want to come back...” “Oh you think you are funny!” the robber shouted as he aimed the sub machine gun in her face, “I hate stupid white bitches who think they are smarter than me!” “Watch where you are pointing that thing Skippy,” the Golden Beetle (Jason) said as he came up from behind the robber, “you could hurt

somebody with that.” “Where the fuck did you come from?” asked the robber as he aimed his gun at the Golden Beetle, “Get down or I will shoot you!” “Shoot me?” asked the Golden Beetle, “I’m a nice guy.” “You prick!” the robber said as he began firing full force into the direction of the Golden Beetle. A cloud of gray smoke began to fill the air as the bullets hit the Beetle. The whole little area was filled with dust and smoke. The robber was not sure if it came from his gun or whatever it was but he moved in to make sure the Golden Beetle was dead. Wham! The Golden Beetle’s fist came out of the smoke and clocked the robber. One punch and the robber flew backwards into the front teller booth wall and busted the wood paneling and slid down it and was unconscious. Golden Beetle bent down and picked up the sub machine gun he then turned to face the lazy Security guard. “Take this thing and call 9-11,” Golden Beetle said handing the weapon to the guard. “Where did you come from?” asked the guard with a confused look. “Just please for once in your life, be a hero!” Golden Beetle pleaded sarcastically, “I have to go. It looks like the other fella has bailed and left his friend. I would normally let the creep go but accessory to a crime is a crime. Tooda-loo!” The Golden Beetle ran out of the bank just as a couple of bankers were walking up to the main door of the bank. Golden Beetle stopped in his tracks to courteously hold the door as they began to squeal frantically in horror for their lives. “Cool your jets! I’m the good guy!” Golden Beetle said as his back began to buckle and huge transparent bug wings poked outward. They began to move about at top speeds and created a light hum-buzzing clatter as Golden Beetle flew up into the air in detection of the fleeing automobile.

(Jackson Street Apartments) Meanwhile, somewhere where it is cold and slight snowfall near south side of Bradford City, New York, there is a lower class section of the city. These are a series of apartments that are jointed together as well as the neighboring buildings with the same quantity and dimension apartments within each building. These bordering buildings were all in the same cluster of old near run-down buildings that were acknowledged as plainly as the “Jackson Street Apartments. These were the homes to many people, families and anybody just trying to make ends meet or even if somebody didn’t want to be found. The Jackson Street Apartments were a good place to make that happen.

A familiar face is walking up to the middle building he steps back and looks up and then he opens the door and enters the old run down inside of the buildings. In all honesty, whoever the land lord was that took care of the Jackson Street Apartments, he or she really kept up on things like replacing the main hall lights and even kept the railings on the stairs from falling in. The man whose name was Daniel Walker who was wearing a regular old white shirt white shirt with suspenders, navy blue slacks and black boots. He was wearing a pair of brown rimmed glasses and his gray hair was messy and his worn tie kind of flopped around on his chest as he began to examine the names on the mail boxes. Eventually Daniel walked up the stairs and made it to an apartment that was labeled “242”. He pulled out an old matchbox and looked on the back of the address the man had scribbled down. So Daniel knocked. He knocked again and again but still there was no response. So Daniel just reached for the doorknob and walked inside. Inside the apartment contained a living quarters for somebody that he knew. It looked like an apartment that was kept by a much unorganized person but Daniel seemed to be up for the challenge as he moved from room to room looking for the person that he had come to visit. Finally, Daniel spotted a figure of a man that was in a dark room. The room appeared to be some kind of bedroom but the bed was knocked over on its side and the mattress was on top of the man. Daniel moved into the room and grabbed onto the mattress and pulled it aside. Underneath the mattress was a familiar face, it looked a lot like one of his friends whose name was Rick Sprint but his face was not as old looking and it looked like he had not shaved in about a week or two. Daniel quickly bent down to check if he was alive by touching the side of his neck. When he learned Rick was alive he propped him against the wall and began to open the blinds a tiny bit, Rick didn’t seem amused that Daniel had done this. “Out of all the people who come looking for me it has to be you,” Rick said, “Why are you here?” “Rick?” asked Daniel, “I ran into your old partner Alex. He mentioned about how you were challenged for your title of the Dragon Master. Usually when that happens you always seem to be a bit overjoyed and....well...I...” “I killed a man,” Rick said, “He was just a boy he was me in every way. It was so ironic. He was a lost boy that had so much to learn and so little time. He wanted to be the Dragon Master, to control the temples and to have the monks follow my word, pray at my temple and worship the dragon. I took my bare hands and I killed this boy. He was everything I was, he was me Daniel. By the unholy prince of darkness I murdered myself.” “You killed a contender to your temple,” Daniel said, “What happened to you? Why do you look about twenty years younger?” “I think I absorbed his essence Cap,” Rick said, “He knew there could only be one Dragon Master. I knew it also and I did not want to do this. I made a vow a long time ago Daniel that I would protect this world from evil. I never wanted to imagine that I would be faced to face with an innocent soul. I am no longer a true hero Daniel. I am a god damn murdering bastard! I do not deserve to be the Dragon Master! I should be punished!” “Snap the hell out of it!” Daniel said as he slapped his old friend across the face. It seemed to shake him loose a bit. “Why did you strike me?” asked Rick as he held his mask in his hands. “It was the only way to get through to you!” Daniel said, “The first day I held onto my sword and wore the scarlet cloak around my shoulders I was faced with choices and decisions to uphold the good of mankind and strike down things that opposed me.” “I am young again,” Rick said, “I did not ask to be turned back to the age of twenty five. It could have been worse but this is what Botaay did. He rejuvenated me as his way of saying thanks for standing against corrected. Now I am faced with a whole life ahead of me, I was prepared to grow old and surrender my title to Alex or maybe even Chan. Whoever was ready to be the Dragon Master.” “You may not like this Rick,” Daniel said, “But there is only one Dragon Master. That is the reason why you prevailed tonight. Only one Dragon Master and there will never be another one in my life time!”

“Very well,” Rick said as he got to his feet and looked around his apartment, “I need to clean this place.” “Where is your wife?” asked Daniel. “Do you think if I still had a wife I would be living in this slum?” asked Rick. “I did not know you two were not together,” Daniel replied. “I saw it coming a long time ago Danny,” Rick said, “Her and I have such different lives. I can’t be Dragon Master and dedicate my whole persona to her. She has a different path then mine and so we have just parted in a nice way. All of this happened so fast Dan; I have this great power that lies inside of me. My hands and body are a living weapon and I am back here again.” “You have come back here because you know that you are once a Crusader and always a Crusader,” Daniel said, “your gifts and skills are what make yourself special among the ranks of the Crusaders. You need to get cleaned up my friend. There are things that await you and things I want you to see.” “Why are you dressed like that?” asked Rick, “you look like a bible salesman on his way to the road of salvation.” “I didn’t think walking around these apartments in a crimson sparkling cloak and a purple leather uniform with red pirate boots and a gleaming sword was appropriate for your neighbors,” laughed Daniel, “Perhaps this looks better?” Out of nowhere a red swirl of fabric spun around Daniel’s entire body and moved at great speeds. A gust of energy shot from the sparkling crimson cloak swirled around his shoulders and came floating down around him as his normal clothes he was recently wearing had been transformed into the costume and person known as the one and only Captain Wonder. “That’s the spirit padre,” Rick laughed as he tied the mask over his head, “I’m assuming there is a reason you are now in your attire and I am now completely efficient.” “I’m not going to get used to you looking young again,” Captain Wonder said, “This will need to need work itself out. Come along Dragon Master, we have a whole bunch of things we need to get done.” “Should I bring my driver’s license?” asked Dragon Master. “You are funny,” Captain Wonder said as his magical cloak swirled around and stretched over Dragon Master and swooped up himself and the two super heroes vanished into thin air with the aid of the magical Eutelija cloak, the next stop.....

building was destroyed by a bunch of crazy villains who wanted to kill Benson Clark or at least put a kink in his manufacturing process. Now the Clark Tower has finally completed and it is bigger and better than before. Topped off with some amazing Titanium metal rods along with some of the finest twenty-first century engineering. It was almost sad that Benson Clark himself was not here to see the completion of Clark Enterprises amazing skyscraper. Instead Lloyd Ellington was peering out of the top floor of his enormous office and letting thoughts fade through his mind and wondering where things will go. Hoping that Benson Clark wakes up from his coma so that he can actually get back to getting his hands dirty working on weapons or maybe adjusting his own personal body armor suit that he labeled the “Black Bomber” to go with Benson Clark’s “Metalloid”. As Lloyd was starring out the window of his top floor office the secretary whose name is Kierra knocked on the door and Lloyd replied for her to come in and so she did. “Mr. Ellington,” Kierra said as she closed the door, “You will not believe who is sitting in the waiting room and wants to speak with you. I had to come in here personally to make sure you could hear me. This is a little overwhelming.” “I can see why Mr. Clark kept you around as his secretary for nearly five years,” Lloyd laughed, “You have me chomping at the bit. Who is out there?” “The United States War Committee,” Kierra said, “General Tom Watson. He said he would like to have a word with you. I told him I would check to see if you are busy. I can understand if you are not ready to start production with weapons or any kind of military work right away with Mr. Clark being the way he is.” “This company is not going to make money with me sitting on my hands waiting for a miracle with Mr. Clark,” Lloyd said, “Please send him in.” “Very well,” Kierra said, “Should I notify Dr. Harris or anybody?” “No,” Lloyd said, “I can handle this. You forget I ran this company before when Benson was out of the picture for a bit. I have a firm grip on all of this.” “Gotcha Mr. Ellington,” Kierra said as she exited the door. A few minutes later, General Thomas Watson of the United States Army and head of the President’s United States War Committee was standing in Lloyd’s office. Lloyd offered him a seat and General Watson did so. Lloyd then climbed behind his desk and sat down in his nice leather seat to begin the conversation. “So General Watson what can I do for you?” asked Lloyd Ellington. “I understand that you will be our contact with Clark Enterprises while Mr. Clark is recovering from his brain injury in the hospital?” asked General Tom Watson. “Well Ellington,” General Watson spoke, “You know this place has potential. Benson Clark and his family created a legacy here. They have kept the United States military supplied with orders to get our jobs done. Clark is also famous for the Metalloid that had graced the pages of many newspapers and took part in a lot of terrorist wrap up operations. Over the years we have seen the Metalloid and how he appears to us and we know he is an amazing war machine and super hero or not, it is hard to believe that there is actually a man inside that armor. One time rumors of Benson Clark actually inside that thing. I am guessing that Metalloid is you am I close?” “Not even sir,” Lloyd laughed, “you forget that for three years I was the Police Commissioner of Bradford City. I had no time even for myself let alone jump into a metal suit with weapons strapped to it and run around with the Crusaders saving the world.” “Well it was one hell of a guess but oh well,” General Watson laughed. “Right indeed,” Lloyd laughed back with the General.

“I am going to cut to the chase Mr. Ellington,” General Watson said, “I have no problem with the Government agents who are a part of the top secret organization called STEEL. What I don’t exactly care for are those men and women running around in colorful costumes with all of these powers. In fact, they kind of make a lot of us nervous. I’ve been watching your company stocks Mr. Ellington, let’s be frank; there has been a slight dip when it comes to this company. I have seen companies like this take a tragic nose dive and never recover. In fact I just saw a company in Detroit called Graves Technologies fall nearly off the map. I know that Clark Enterprises used to be involved with Graves Technologies. I really don’t want this company to go under. In fact, I will hand you over one hundred million dollars right now, tax free, direct from the United States military with no costs.” “General Watson,” Lloyd laughed, “I may have been sitting at this desk only for a week but like I told you, I ran this company for nearly four years while Benson was gone with personal issues. You think that because we have fallen in the stocks and some of our business has vanished plus we spent way too much on this new building that we may be having an issue?” “I don’t need to repeat myself Mr. Ellington,” General Watson said, “Do you need one hundred million dollars or not?” “Of course I do General Watson,” Lloyd said, “What person with a high profile company like this wouldn’t take money like that? Before I take this money from you, I need to know what is the big catch? My Mama didn’t raise no fool. So tell me what do you want me to do to collect such a dollar?” “OK,” General Watson said, “I want you to take the money and I want you to take some of it to build me something. It would be the greatest weapon for the military. It will be a weapon that will make a lot of us sleep late at night. I want you to build a failsafe, just in case. Almost like Just in case something happens. Mr. Ellington, I want you to build a machine or a device that can kill Cosmicman. I know that sounds a bit over the top but I know you could use the money and I know you know his weakness. We have to plan for Cosmicman, he is powerful and in fact Mr. Ellington he scares the living hell out of a lot of my top officials.” “General Watson,” Lloyd said shaking his head, “Why Cosmicman? He has done nothing wrong and I have lost track on my hands how many times the man has saved the universe? What is the big deal?” “You seen that monster that refers to itself as Lord X?” asked General Watson, “Without Cosmicman, there would be no Lord X. There would be none of that shit, no reason for Lord X to hi-jack a secret Government STEEL satellite that orbits the planet continuously.” “I just can’t do it,” Lloyd said, “You cannot convince me that Cosmicman is worth all this trouble for me to assist you in this way.” “You simply do not understand Mr. Ellington,” General Watson said, “What if Cosmicman was corrupted somehow? What if he was controlled by an outside alien force? We do not have any defenses against him. He would simply destroy the entire world and think of the countless lives that would be lost. Even if you say Cosmicman is to be trusted, you forget that sometimes people have these kinds of bad episodes. All of you have to do is create a device that can stop him. It’s only for an emergency protection. You know the ins and outs of this alien or whatever he is. You can give us the tools to stop him just in case he decides to go rouge. You have to look at this from the point of view of your country. You were with the Air force at one time Mr. Ellington. You know that these things can happen and our country is always first before anything.” “OK General,” Lloyd said, “I’ll create your device but I want the money up front into my account. I want the promise that this device will only be used if Cosmicman becomes a threat to the United States or the world. You got that?” “Of course Mr. Ellington,” General Watson smiled as he got to his feet, “You will be much happier and this company can get out of the declining slumps and back into action.” General Watson offered his hand and Lloyd hesitatingly took it and they both shook hands. The former retired United States Senator Collin Wagner is currently being interviewed by the famous local television show called “Bradford City Today.” Rumors have begun to circulate about Senator Wagner possibly running for President. The Senator seems to be tired and angry that everyone expects him to be like his late father who was in the U.S. Senate for a long time and made a run for the Presidency but pulled out due to health reasons.

“So you are telling us that all of the rumors about you running for President are not true?” asked the television host whose name was Terry Hayes. “Oh my goodness yes,” says the sixty some year old retired Senator, “My few years left on this Earth I just want to rest and maybe stand up for a few good politics. I do not have the willpower of my father to stay in the game as long as he did. It eventually crippled his health and the stress did kill him. I don’t think I want my children to see me like that.” “We understand but you still have a lot of local Bradford City fans that are still pulling for you to give it a shot,” Terry added, “You have had a successful local television show after you retired from the Senate. Good Morning Bradford was one of the best rated morning talk shows in the city in quite some time.” “It was a good talk show but unfortunately management did not see things the way I did,” Collin Wagner replied, “When I can’t run a simply talk show the way I want then there really is no reason for me to keep myself involved with a project that has my name on it but it’s really not my idea.” “Since we got you here Mr. Wagner,” Terry spoke, “We would like to ask questions about your father. A lot of people remember him as a Senator who spent many years in office but there are the rumors that he had a dark connection with an organization called STEEL. Now, according to some people STEEL was run by a bunch of sinister people who were against any type of possible human mutation, and even has went on record saying they were looking for actual aliens that were living on Earth. What do you say to all of that?” “Well,” Collin laughed, “you know there is always going to be people that like to invent wild stories about things. I’m not saying my father didn’t have his share of secrets, we all do. What I am saying is he wasn’t the kind of person to persecute an innocent person for anything. Yes as we approach the year 2014 we all now know that we are not alone in the galaxy and there are cases of aliens living on this planet. Perhaps there were some illegal aliens living on Earth back then but as far as my father being a part of any type of witch hunt program like that is pure bogus and nobody should listen to anything like that.” “Well Bradford City,” Terry said, “There you have it. Straight from former Senator Collin Wagner’s mouth on the stories of his later father. Mr. Wagner I’d like to thank you for taking the time to be here.” “No problem Mr. Hayes and anytime you want me back just ask,” Collin smiled as the studio cued the theme music and began to run the credits. “Hey thanks asshole,” Collin said as he got to his feet, “I was not prepared to answer questions like that. I thought this television program was supposed to be about the facts.” “My producers wanted me to get a shock and awe with the question factor,” Terry said, “I am sorry but there are talks about the past of Bradford City.” “Leave my name out of it if you ever want to have me appear anywhere on your station,” Collin said, “I am trying to be a legit citizen of this country. Whatever science fiction stories you think you have heard or have read about in the National Enquirer you should probably leave them there.” Collin stormed off the stage and through the back doors. He passed through several hallways and through the back door to the alley way where his black limousine was waiting for him. Collin climbed into the back and signaled the driver to take him home. “How was the interview?” Asked Jack the limousine driver as he began to pull around and through the back drive ways and out onto the streets. “Terry Hayes has become the way I was two years ago when I was running Good Morning Bradford,” Collin said, “He is taking orders and running the show the way the producers want. I feel sorry for him but with that type of attitude he’s never going to go anywhere when it comes to having a legit show.”

“Really sorry about that Mr. Wagner,” Jack said, “I’ll understand if you need some time.” “Thank you Jack,” Collin said as he rolled up the shaded privacy window between the front seat and the back seat where Collin was sitting in the back.

As the car drove through the long and winding back roads of the twisting country sides towards the mansion home where Collin Wagner lived. As he was sitting back in the back seat of the limo, all of a sudden a tap came at his sky window. He reached up and pushed a button and the window slide aside as cold air blew into the back hatch but also the slim and trim athletic body of the female super hero called Stargazer slipped down through the roof window. She sat next to Collin as he closed the window above him. “That’s the way you come and visit me?” asked Collin with a laugh. “Please turn off that hologram you look like my father,” Stargazer said with a laugh. “Somebody could have seen you,” Collin added. “We are way out in the middle of the hills,” Stargazer said, “I made sure I wasn’t seen.” “Very well,” Collin said as he reached down under his suit and pushed a button on his belt buckle. The hologram that was surrounding him was nothing but light beams and high tech alien equipment that made Cosmicman appear to be the aging Senator. Truth be known, Cosmicman was here first. He was adopted by a family who took him in as a child after he was taken from his home planet by a bunch of rebels who found out his real father was mad and genetically passed his altered abilities to his unborn child. (You have to read the Cosmicman origin storyline to get the full idea why he has powers and why his real father Arsilicon from the planet Jamma was driven crazy) Cosmicman was originally born Cal’dor of the planet Jamma and his mother had no idea her husband had this darkness about him. She programmed an android to bring him to Earth where of course the infant was put into human hands by a Russian immigrant who found him. The Wagners took the child in and he was brought up as Alan and Mary Wagner’s son. Which of course Collin followed in politics but noticed in college he was becoming powerful and his genetic powers were coming through. Collin would soon learn that he was more powerful than any human on the planet. Later on, Collin befriend Dr. Harris (the Brain) and later through an alien device he altered a hologram projector which allowed Collin to appear to age normally and as Cosmicman he would take on a super hero identity to protect the planet. Collin Wagner’s hologram was programmed to age as a normal human and remain much thinner than Cosmicman. As Collin he even went into politics and followed in his father’s footsteps but later decided he felt guilty for deceiving the world of who he really was and he retired as a U.S. Senator but remained a popular icon due to his family’s history. “I didn’t mean to startle you Cal’dor,” Stargazer said as she gave Cosmicman a kiss on the cheek, “With all of this stuff that recently has been rehashed with your life I have been kind of keeping my distance until you are ready to talk about it.” “Thank you for taking my feelings in consideration Debi,” Cosmicman replied, “We can talk about this later. The sound proofing back here keeps Jack from hearing our conversation but....” All of a sudden the personal communication device that the Brain had designed for all the members of the Crusaders began to beep. Cosmicman tuned the device in and it appeared to be his partner and good friend Jerry also known as the “White Tornado” because of his ability to control the winds and high velocity winds that he can use to his advantage or even a disadvantage depending on what the situation is. “Jerry are you ok?” asked Cosmicman. “I am on the other side of Manhattan,” White Tornado said, “You can see my coordinates with the communication device. I am currently assisting some STEEL agents who have taken down a bunch of

criminals that were dealing with arms and stolen weapons. A lot of them appear to have the Clark Enterprise stamp on the crates.” “Yeah that’s nothing new,” Cosmicman said, “There was a theft of a Clark Enterprise back warehouse about five or six years ago.” “Get this,” White Tornado said, “One of America’s most wanted the one and only Sabotage. Commander Steve thinks we have found his main lab. He’s upgraded and has been back to the old cloning stuff. We have two bodies that are very interesting and they both are inside a large chamber and hooked up to his central processing unit. This baby is still warm and I think with a little extra help we could nail that big bubble headed baboon.” “I will send Stargazer,” Cosmicman said, “I am stuck in Bradford City for the time being. It would be nice to finally get our hands on a world criminal like Sabotage. Are any of his men contained?” “Yes,” White Tornado said, “There was a small battle between STEEL agents and some of those RAID criminals. Sabotage has been working for RAID, big surprise there huh? I think our lead here has or will shut some Sabotage. Even if we don’t find him, we sure have crippled his main lab. Wouldn’t it be nice if this lead to a trail right to Avis Longorov’s trail and of course Lord X would be waiting for us to actually take in?” “It would be nice,” Cosmicman said as he switched his belt back into place and activated his hologram belt. Stargazer gave Cosmicman one more kiss on the cheek and stood up and flew out the sun roof. All though she didn’t take in consideration the strength of her anti gravity flight and the car began to shake a bit but Jack got a hold of the wheel and pulled off to the side of the road. Collin (Cosmicman) quickly shut the sun roof.

Jack knocked on the back window and Collin rolled it down. Jack stuck his face in the window to see if Collin was ok. “You ok?” asked Jack, “I think I might have hit a patch of ice and lost control of the car. It was really weird Mr. Wagner.” “It’s ok Jack,” Collin said, “You are a good driver. We have maybe about a couple of miles until we are back home. Take your time if you need and thank you for the update.” “I would have rolled down the window between us but you have the emergency lock on,” Jack said. “I do?” asked Collin with a fake look of surprise on his face, “I will have to fix that,”

About several minutes later, the blond bombshell with the sparkly star outfit named Stargazer has already arrived in the Manhattan area. The sun appears to be starting to go down but her communication device keeps her proceeding to the right direction. As she lowers herself from the sky several STEEL agents surround her with their guns out but once they see that it is Stargazer they put their weapons down. “Sorry Stargazer,” the one STEEL agent said, “All we saw was someone coming from the sky and landing. We thought it could have been one of Sabotage’s men coming with backup.” “It’s OK,” Stargazer said, “Lead me to where this underground lab is.” “Sure thing,” the STEEL agent said. “Agent Ross,” A STEEL agent named Bob Turner said as he peaked his head around the corner over black van, “I will take it from here. You keep the perimeter secure with the others and make sure we don’t get any surprises.” “Yes sir,” the STEEL agent replied as Agent Turner began to lead Stargazer into the door of the warehouse. Inside the warehouse everything looked normal. With large crates and packages all over plus the many rounds of bullet holes you could for sure tell that something took place about five or ten minutes ago.

(Criminal Warehouse front)

Stargazer stayed closed to Agent Turner, there were a lot of boxes and crates the more they move through the thicker isles that were set aside and laid out in a certain manner. A forklift was parked in the center of one of the isles but it looked like it was shut down for what appeared to be about two to three days. “This is what got everyone all excited,” Agent Turner said as he walked over to a large crate. It almost looked like a car could have been inside this crate but Turner knew different. He reached around and touched a panel on the side of the large crate. The front part of the crate literally slides to the side inside a concealed panel to the left and in the interior was what appeared to be a cozy little elevator of some sort. “This is something,” Stargazer smiled. “We’re dealing with Sabotage,” Agent Turner said, “That bastard really went on a limb to hide out for the last six months that we have been chasing him around the world. After the Blogdavia thing that took place over in that country we were starting to think Sabotage was either dead or retired.”

(Secret Elevator door) “After you,” Stargazer said as she stepped back and allowed Agent Turner into the secret elevator. Stargazer took a look around and walked into the elevator as the door slid shut. The two looked at each other in confusion. “The elevator only goes one direction and that is down,” Agent Turner said as the elevator began to move down. After about ten seconds the elevator went down, stopped and opened the door. Right in front of Agent Turner and Stargazer was an underground lab that was an breath taking view of all kinds of machines, chemicals, devices, glass tubes, tables, various monitors and of course standing there was White Tornado and original Crusader known as “Electroman” who was in his costume and lending his scientific knowledge to STEEL’s recent find. “Glad you could join us,” White Tornado smiled, “Stargazer, I am not sure if you know Electroman or Dr. West. Whatever he goes by he is one of the founders of the Crusaders.” “Yes, we have met,” Stargazer smiled, “The pleasure is mine.”

“I have been wandering around this amazing underground facility,” Electroman said, “I cannot believe the things this Sabotage was doing while practically under the city of Bradford. Honestly, if it wasn’t for a couple of rookies who followed a bunch of suspicious truck drivers they would have never made their way in here. The first mistake the idiots did was shoot at the cops who drove into this warehouse parking lot. That’s all they needed to call backup and of course the backup called STEEL and here we are.” “Hey, I’m just happy we may be closer to finding Sabotage,” White Tornado said, “I suppose you didn’t see anything?” “I flew up and down the block Whitey,” Stargazer said, “Sabotage may have a giant head that looks like an inflated light bulb but he is not stupid. That is why he has never seen the inside of a prison very long.” “Don’t worry guys,” Electroman said as he was wearing a pair of blue rubber gloves, “You have me back on the case. I’ve spent many years working in crime labs and you don’t have to be super intelligent to hide away from the law. Most intelligent people are over confident and I’m hoping my years in the crime lab will pay off.” “What happened during the shoot out?” asked Stargazer. “By the time I got here it was those bad guys from RAID,” White Tornado said, “I had to help round up a few of them. Otherwise they would have at least got away but thanks to the newly redesigned transporters, STEEL was able to get thirty armed men down here under ten minutes.” “Has anybody identified these frozen bodies that are in these cryo-containers way back here?” asked Stargazer. “STEEL is coming down to remove them,” White Tornado said, “They have their labs where they can do all of that stuff. Most likely all you are going to find are clones and whatever Sabotage was trying to mutate at the time.” “Ah ha,” Electroman said as he picked up a vanilla colored folder file. He began to flip through it. “What is that?” asked White Tornado. “For some reason Sabotage was keeping a file on Thor,” Electroman said, “Lots of pictures and notes on his magical lightning. He also has a speculation page where he had notes on his Mjolnir and a bunch of old Norse Atlantic type of printing. I wonder why he kept files on him? Thor has been out of the limelight of the public eye for quite some time.” “True but he still is a Crusader and has helped saved the world dozens of times,” Stargazer said. “It sends a cold chill down my spine guys,” Electroman said, “Remember many years ago when Lord X was able to control the magic in the Mjolnir and it possessed Thor’s mind and actually turned him into some sort of brainless lackey for Lord X?” “That was a lifetime ago,” Stargazer said. “True,” Electroman said, “But this little writing in here makes a special note about old Viking incantations and all of the things that took place.” “I also believe Thor was legally dead,” Stargazer said, “But of course he is immortal and if my memory serves me right, Lord X took advantage of that and used something to control Thor by resurrecting him with the magic of his Mjolnir. I will have to refer to the old Crusader’s files but I distinctly remember Thor’s son Magni being in the center of all of that. Magni is about as trustworthy as a green Tyrolean warlord.” “These also could just be notes,” Electroman said, “But curious why they are out and set aside.” “Maybe Sabotage is just sloppy?” asked White Tornado. “Let’s keep searching around,” Stargazer said, “We only have so much time before Commander Steve comes down here and makes this place disappear. Too bad the Brain wasn’t here but we have to work with what we have.” “I hope that wasn’t a personal remark against me?” asked Electroman. “No, No, No,” Stargazer said, “It’s just nice to see you again. You are an original Crusader and we don’t see too many of the classic heroes anymore. You should stick around and give a few guys like Golden Beetle a lesson in manners.”

“Oh that’s right,” Electroman said, “There’s a new Golden Beetle. I knew the other guy but don’t know the new guy. Is he a pain in the ass?” “No,” Stargazer said, “He’s fun. We’ve saved the universe a few times. I’ll tell you about it later.” “Ok-do-key,” Electroman laughed as he went back to work.

(Crusader’s Mansion) Finally later in the night, Cosmicman arrives at the Crusader’s Mansion. The mansion used to be the Clark Family home. It originally was an asylum for mentally ill patients until Simon Clark bought the building thirty years ago and renovated it into a thirty bedroom mansion. It wasn’t until the last three years that Benson Clark had donated the mansion to the Crusaders so they had a headquarters. So along with Benson Clark’s technology combined with the intelligence of the Brain they fixed up the thirty bedroom mansion into a super hero head quarters with personal bedrooms for some members that had their personal rooms there. Jonathan Scott the former family Butler remained as the Crusader’s Butler and has been keeping the mansion up to code with cleaning and preparing meals in the large dining room. Several other rooms have been constructed through the years such as a meeting room and a enormous laboratory for the Brain to do work and adjacent to that is a workout room for several of the members to train and work out in the added underground space that has been constructed where it also leads to a back hidden area that opens up and reveals a storage space for the Crusader’s jet rocket that allows them to travel to places throughout the world. Cosmicman enters the front door as the high-tech security scans his body and allows him to pass through the door without any hassles. He moves through the many hallways and catches a friendly “hello” from Mr. Scott who was carrying a large box that was filled with new China ware he had ordered for the dining area.

Cosmicman proceeds down the stairs that lead into the science areas where he finds Xenon and the Brain who are in conversation about something. Cosmicman looks at his communication device to double check something. “I’m here,” Cosmicman said, “you mentioned I should come straight here?” “As you know since STEEL has a satellite headquarters in space I have been monitoring space with some science equipment that scans the solar system,” Xenon said, “I have been keeping watch and studying little movements in our galaxy and I found something that has been near the moon of Jupiter called Callisto.” “Well judging from what you have found it must be something of great concern if you have contacted me at this hour,” Cosmicman said, “What did you find Xenon?” “I found a dormant starship,” Xenon said, “It has been that way for nearly a week. At first I thought it could have been an asteroid but as I altered my view of the angle of Callisto

I was able to get some shots. This is not just a starship that is lost or something we have never seen before. I think I have found the starship that belongs to Gor.” “Gor has been dead for nearly two years,” Cosmicman said. “There is no other starship of that size,” Xenon said, “The awkward size and synthetic looking ship. I will show you the pictures and scans I have. The ship maybe empty but there is the question why it is empty.” “I am only concerned that somebody else finds it,” the Brain said, “A powerful ship of that magnitude could only bring trouble. Assuming that Gor is not on that ship, we need to get to it and secure it.” “You have a point guys,” Cosmicman said, “Since I am the only person who can travel through space without the aid of a starship. I guess I will be the one to fly there and investigate.” “We should go with,” the Brain said. “We don’t have a star ship that can get us there fast enough,” Cosmicman said, “With my body in space I can tap into my cosmic powers and move a light speeds. My body is adaptable to space and it will only be me who can make that trip. If you need me to wear some kind of device so you can come by with...” “What about Stargazer?” asked Xenon, “She is a part of those galactic Stargazers and does travel the cosmos from time to time. All of those various terrestrial Stargazers from all over the universe have the capability to soar through space and to a variety of planets in space. You could have her come with you.” “I can handle this,” Cosmicman said, “You forget that I have been to planets on the far side of the galaxy without the aid of a starship. When I break free from the Earth’s atmosphere I can set free the full prospective of my power. In my complete form I can make it to this starship in about maybe under an hour. The only starships obtainable to us through Benson Clark’s technology would take you guys a year to reach that objective.” “What about Koran?” asked Xenon, “Captain Koran also identified as the Eagleman? He has that starship that got the Crusaders to Jupiter once where they scrambled with that that Maddox life form?” “That didn’t involve me,” Cosmicman said, “You would have to talk to Stargazer. Besides, I’m not a big admirer of Koran. He is not a team player and he always thinks he is in charge. I feel bad that he was trapped in the past and the only people that closely resemble his world are a planet of aliens with wings from the planet Cardaria. We talked about keeping the Crusaders drama free and back to the days when we were content with each other. Asking Koran to use his starship yet again only invites his spiteful manner back into the fold. Let’s face it, since Angelica’s demise I believe he just no longer has it in him to be a Crusader and that means we don’t go calling him up when we need to borrow him for deep space travel. So, Xenon I will need some printouts and space locations planned into my communication tool. I can depart almost immediately as soon as you get all of this material together.” “Are you sure about this?” asked the Brain. “It is better that I examine this starship before we find out that somebody is on that ship,” Cosmicman said, “Since the greater part of STEEL members have their command center that orbits the planet Earth they would be the primary victims, assuming that thing comes to Earth.” “You believe Gor is dead right?” asked the Brain. “Of course I do,” Cosmicman said, “but that is his ship. That thing is the most powerful ship in the universe. That is the ship he has used on many occasions to conqueror worlds with his army. The reason it is suspended in our galaxy I am sure I will find that answer out but for now I will remain here until Xenon completes what I asked.” “Well let’s just anticipate that ship is vacant and undamaging,” the Brain said. “For the sake of the planet Earth I concur,” Cosmicman said.
