TEA TAKES CENTRE STAGE Four o’clock in the afternoon is recognized as teatime the world over, but few teatimes are as inspired as ours, a celebratory daily event that irresistibly draws guests to Horizons. With a classical string quartet softly playing, our staff glides through the light-filled room presenting four-tiered carts filled with finger sandwiches, colourful petits fours, scones with clotted cream, exquisite desserts and of course, a tempting selection of artisanal teas.

COME AS YOU ARE AND DINE ALFRESCO Sometimes the ultimate luxury is casual dining. Chefs grill gourmet burgers, tangy barbecue and succulent seafood to order, accompanying them with side dishes like garden-fresh salads and crispy, hand-cut truffle fries dusted with grated aged parmesan. Then top it off with a decadent dessert such as a creamy homemade gelato, a made-to-order hot fudge sundae or a thick handdipped milkshake.

In the morning, the entire space is infused with natural sunlight, stimulating the appetite for the sumptuous breakfast selections. Evenings, the cuisine takes on a local flair such as a hearty paella in Spain, eggplant parmigiana in Italy or a rich beef bourguignon in France. Onboard Marina and Riviera, the Terrace Café features lobster tails, jumbo shrimp, hand-cut steaks and chops, a sushi bar and hand-tossed fresh pastas.
