In fact, more than half of the doctors practicing in Dallas received some or all of their training at UT Southwestern.
A MULTIDISCIPLINARY TEAM We recognize that caring for patients with complex cardiovascular conditions requires a coordinated approach. Our team includes cardiologists, vascular specialists, cardiovascular and thoracic surgeons, imaging experts, heart failure/transplant leaders, and a broad range of subspecialists.
UNIQUELY COORDINATED CARE Patients in UT Southwestern’s Heart and Vascular Program receive support at every step of their treatment journey. A dedicated nurse coordinator guides each patient and their family through treatment options based on their individual needs. Patients also meet with both their medical and surgical providers, a distinctive feature of the UTSW program that is based on coordinated care, clear communication, and enhanced understanding of the treatment plan. This approach leads to better health outcomes and a more positive health care experience.
