T
he Heart and Vascular Program at UT Southwestern is shaping the future of cardiovascular medicine by preparing physicians and researchers who advance care in North Texas and at leading institutions across the nation. Our program builds on a foundation of academic excellence to train the next generation of cardiovascular specialists, who gain practice in a variety of clinical settings. Clinical providers have extensive opportunities for leadership development, coaching, and advanced education. Our programs ensure access to innovative and modern training pathways and experiences in traditional and unique

cardiac subspecialties, including structural interventional cardiology, cardio-oncology, cardiac amyloidosis, structural echocardiography, and more. Clinical programs emphasize progressive training supported by high patient volumes, expert faculty supervision, and integrated didactic instruction. Postdoctoral fellows benefit from a wide range of research opportunities across multiple laboratories, while our state-of-the-art Simulation Center provides hands-on training in cardiovascular procedures. Plus, we offer a comprehensive and leading-edge weekly conference curriculum for fellows and faculty.

CARDIOLOGY FELLOWSHIP With clinical experiences at UT Southwestern’s flagship hospital, William P. Clements Jr. University Hospital, as well as Parkland Health, Children’s Health, and the VA North Texas Health Care System, our fellowships provide an environment that ensures fellows gain a robust and diverse experience with ample opportunities for hands-on, leading-edge procedures.
