While Cassandra Shepard has been committed to her work as a student of higher education, she has held several professional positions in academia throughout the process of working on her degrees.
During 2009 to 2010, Cassandra served as the editor of her Universityâ€™s Undergraduate Research Journal XULAneXUS, where she was a member of Fine Arts and Humanities Committees.
She also was responsible for reviewing, accepting, and
research journal for two semesters.
From 2012 to 2017, she has served as a part-time instructor at the Art Institute of Chicagoâ€™s school, where she created, designed, and taught numerous college-level writing courses. Nowadays, she continues to hold a position as a teaching assistant at Northwestern University, which she began in 2012.
