What would you do? Ivy’s group assessment Ivy is a Chinese student studying Informatics. In her communications course she is placed in a group with two other Chinese, a Libyan and two students from Nepal. As leader for the week, she is responsible for organising meetings and uploading minutes to eLearning. The minutes are worth 10% of the group mark. She organises a meeting at the library for 12:30 on Wednesday. She and the other Chinese students meet in the Library foyer, wait for ten minutes then go and work together. In the minutes, Ivy writes that other students were absent from the meeting. At 1pm on Wednesday, the Libyan and Nepalese students go to the lecturer’s office and complain that the Chinese students met without them.
