Projeto CASA DA CRIANÇA in action CASA DA CRIANÇA’s partner for 5 years, Home Center Ferreira Costa, in Recife, PE, has given its support in several initiatives, from donation campaigns performed in partnership with national sponsors to the execution of a big institutional campaign in the store´s area. In 2009, Ferreira Costa’s store in Recife, yielded space in the store for the display of a number remodeled spaces by the Projeto in all of Brazil. CASA DA CRIANÇA produced a number of promotional pieces (wobbles, banners, t-shirts for staff and stands) with pictures of humane spaces in institutions renewed with the contribution of each of the Projeto’s nationwide sponsoring companies. The pieces were spread throughout the store, especially at the shelves where the sponsors’ products were displayed. Through this initiative, the Projeto CASA DA CRIANÇA gave visibility and strengthened the image of its main supporters as socially responsible businesses. Besides the institutional campaign, Ferreira Costa maintains at all registers a collecting box for donations by the store’s customers.
