Open Evening Thank you to all the families who came to the Open Evening. A special thank-you to Lisa and Fiona for organising and providing the refreshments and to Class 3 for entertaining us with their power-point and Indian Dancing! We will be holding Parent Evenings after half term to discuss progress and provide opportunities for you to look at your child’s books.

Individual Photographs Thank –you for ensuring the children looked so smart in their uniforms on Friday for the photographs. The photographer commented on how well behaved and well-mannered our children were, which is always lovely to hear.

Ofsted Inspection We may be subject to an Ofsted inspection at any time this academic year. Under the new framework we only receive the phone call on the day before the inspection is due to begin. Instead of a written parental questionnaire, families are asked to register on line and fill in the questionnaire electronically. This can be done at any time. and go to parent view. It is fairly straight forward and only takes a short amount of time.

Parent Helpers It was so lovely on Friday to see new faces helping in Class 1. We are always on the lookout for new volunteers. If any parents or Grandparents wish to help, even just once a year, please see Mrs Robinson for a CRB information pack. We hold a central record of all volunteers, which is updated regularly.
