HOW WILL I BE ASSESSED?
This qualification will introduce you to the principles of safe, ethical and effective practice in leading activity sessions, and to confirm competence to the required standard in an appropriate sports/leisure environment.
You will be assessed through theory based assignments and practical observations.
WHAT WILL I LEARN? The qualification includes the following units: • Support the work of your team and organisation
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS You will need four GCSEs including Physical Education, English and Maths at a Level 3 or above. All learning material is supplied by 1st 4 Sport. You will also need prior experience of the sport and active leisure industry and a sporting background – ideally involved in competitive sport, playing, coaching or officiating.

HOW WILL I BE ASSESSED?
This qualification will further develop learners, who have existing knowledge and skills in gym instruction, to enable them to pursue a career in personal training.
You will be assessed by coursework, e-assessment, multiple choice examination, portfolio of evidence, practical demonstration/assignment.
WHAT WILL I LEARN?
During the qualification you will cover the following:

All learning material is supplied by Active IQ. You should also have prior experience in the health and fitness industry and a Level 2 Fitness Instructor qualification.
