BEN MILNE Founder DWOLLA Ben Milne, 31, is a mobile payments outsider and founder of Dwolla, a new payment network based in the heart of the Silicon Prairie. The company continues to disrupt Visa and Mastercard by building useful and innovative online and mobile products on top of its open and low-cost payment network. Ben is a repeat entrepreneur, having created and sold another multi-million dollar startup with oversea operations back in 2008. Open, candid, and honest, he is a sought after speaker in the international startup community, payments industry, and tech circles. Ben also has extensive leadership, investment, and mentorship experience with numerous companies, charities, and organizations.

STEVEN SINGER CEO ABNOTE Steven Singer has served as Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer and as a Director of ABnote since November 2000, making him the longest-serving CEO among global financial card solution companies. A graduate of the Harvard Law School and the University of Pennsylvania, summa cum laude, Mr. Singer previously served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Pure 1 Systems, a manufacturer and distributor of water treatment products, and as Chairman of the Board of a number of publicly traded corporations, including Globix Corporation, Neon Corporation, Motient Corporation, and ABnote Limitada do Brasil. He has also been appointed by the United States Bankruptcy Court as a Chapter 7 Trustee.

Patrick Gauthier is the Head of PayPal’s Emerging Services group in the Enterprise Solution division. He manages the PayPal Prepaid and PayPal Media Network businesses. The Enterprise Solutions division is driving PayPal’s omnichannel strategy and solutions for large retailers and partner networks.

Patty joined Vantiv in 2011 as Senior Vice President of Merchant Products and Security and is responsible for all EMV (Europay, MasterCard® and Visa®) strategy for the Vantiv Merchant business. Patty is a +25 year payments industry veteran, with over 20 years of experience in the terminal technology field.

Patrick is a payments and commerce innovation specialist, with more than 20 years of experience managing products, sales, innovation and corporate venture with startups, Visa Inc. and Schlumberger Electronic Transactions.

Prior to joining the Vantiv team, Patty was Vice President of Marketing and Security for Hypercom Corporation where she designed and launched the industry’s first remote key injection system for payment terminals, a solution that won the prestigious Cartes Sesames Award in 2009. Prior to her time at Hypercom Corporation, Patty managed VeriFone’s Processing, Value Added Reseller (VAR) and Business Development functions for eight years. She has substantial expertise in payment card and PIN security and is a qualified PIN Security auditor.

Patrick has also held positions on the board of directors of a number of e-commerce and m-commerce startups. He is currently an advisor to Tyfone and Sequent Software, two companies pioneering NFC solutions and a Conseiller du Commerce Exterieur de la France, one of the oldest public/private economic partnerships in the world. Patrick holds a Master’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Telecom Sud-Paris in France.
